  1. Ryan I'm glad I didn't get it then :harhar:
  2. I was recommended the Auto Glym one which is supposed to be good, but it was out of stock at Halfords. I just bought a cheapy one and it took quite a few applications, together with heating it up with the hairdryer and scraping it off with my fingers to take it off lol It's a lot easier if you use an eraser attachment for a drill!
  3. You should be fine with the bumpstrips mate, just peel the off slowly with a hairdryer to make sure you don't peel the lacquer off too. Then use an eraser wheel or tar remover to get the glue off :harhar:

    Happy Bday Idrees

    Happy Birthday bro! :harhar:
  5. 38?! Damn! :harhar: That's a brilliant price to be fair! Yeah it's quite a trek lol but I've been looking at prices from people down here though and it's ridiculous! So it would probably be more worthwhile coming up to Notts!
  6. Yup, the GT Advance models are quite rare
  7. :harhar:
  8. Awesome, once they're bedded in they'll look even better! :harhar:
  9. Ooh I was right :harhar: Good find man should look cool! If you do keep the lip though you'll need osme sort of splitter up front. Maybe check out Idrees' when he comes up with one for the N/As?
  10. PI Springs are -40mm dude lowest I've seen
  11. That looks quite cool! I've never seen a modded Salmon Starlet! Have you got coilies? It looks lowww! :harhar:
  12. I have some days where I REALLY REALLY want a GT/V..This is one of them :harhar:
  13. *Update* Well some of you many have seen these pics in another thread, where I was asking about refurbishing chrome rims. But for those of you that haven't, here's the state my wheels were in So I got on with having a go at refurbing them myself last week! It was my first time doing something like this so I was nervous I might wreck the wheels lol! I used this stuff called "Nitromors" to strip off the old Lacquer, but had to be careful not to strip the black paint! This saved me hours so I'm really glad I found it lol I then wire-brushed and sanded them down to bare metal, finishing with 1200 Wet & Dry Then I polished each wheel about 5 times with Autosol to bring the rims back to their former glory! The finished product Needless to say I was chuffed they came out so well I couldn't resist taking some pics when she was sitting on steelies, it looked so weird! :harhar: Wheels just cleared the brakes! Check out the offset haha And now that my wheels are nice and shiny, I decided to get some 3mm & 5mm spacers to get the stance right, here's the before pics And after Looks a lot better I reckon I went down to the bodyshop in the hope that they would start on the car, but they were bogged down again! So I have to bring it back next Tuesday Then I popped down to the exhaust shop in the hope that they could squeeze me in before the car gets sprayed, but the Boss is away so that's delayed as well now! ;) I'm getting quite anxious to get it all done before Japfest, I'll be gutted if I can't
  14. Rear Glanza bumper with lip! Actually the top doesn't look like a rear bumper :harhar:
  15. Liam I read in thread ages ago that you had dent removal done at Mint Car Enhancements for £80, the whole car? Do you know if they still offer that mate? Any chance they do machine polishing too?
  16. Welcome! :harhar: Use Photobucket to upload pics, and use the IMG code to post them up here Also if you want to start a build thread, do it HERE
  17. There's not that many differences between the V and GT really, exterior & interior styling is different. The Rods on some GTs are thicker if I remember correctly and the GTs are a few dozen kilos lighter (860kg vs 920kg or something?) Good luck with your search and keep us updated! :harhar:
  18. Pics! :harhar:
  19. For Camber, I think Whiteline have Camber adjustment bolts, I don't think you can alter the camber at the rear though
  20. Those wheels would look awesome if you did them baby blue! :harhar: Keep it up!
  21. Welcome :harhar:
  22. That looks pretty cool man! Never seen a lowered 5dr Starlet before! What springs are they? 30mm? Have they bedded in yet? Oh and get some clear/crystal side repeaters and 12x6" import plates
  23. I love those Evo VIs! Especially the orange one
  24. The comment at 0:13 is exactly what I said It's so retarded, I really don't see the appeal!
