  1. I cut the slats in my grille out as well, I think it looks much better, but needs a tidy up with a dremel lol
  2. They both look great!
  3. Ew WTF?! Looks like a GT from the shape at the front
  4. That Photoshop looks amazing!
  5. Coolio thanks for the advice
  6. LOL @ Ky

    Wey Heyyyy!

Well done buddy, best of luck!
  9. Nice updates as usual! The Whiteline ALK is a really good bit of kit Steve said you refurbed his wheels right? I just wanted to ask how you did the rim? I've got corrosion on some parts of my rim's lacquer. I|f I only refurb the parts that are corroded I reckon there'll be an uneven shine, but if I strip the lacquer off the whole rim and polish it back up it'll look even? Do you know if I can use anything to help me strip off the lacquer more quickly than just using wet & dry/steel wool? Are thinners etc safe to use?
  10. Lol someone's borrowed my axle stands so it'll 1 by 1 for me too Yeah I might pop down there when the car's sprayed up
  11. Zac with the headlight restoration, have you had any condensation build up in them since?
  12. Damn I was hoping someone wouldn't say that I'll see if anyone else can shed any light on the matter before I give it a go tomorrow!
  13. What could I use to make stripping the lacquer quicker/easier, because it would take hours with Wet & Dry alone?
  14. Dunno yet, I don't really like touchscreen phones, but it'll definitely be a BlackBerry
  15. Sounds good, but I can't really see the side decals working on a Starlet
  16. 8900 Curve, upgrading in a few months time
  17. I'm lowered 40mm on 50 profile 15"s, but I don't think it's ever happened to me I think you can sort the problem by buying an adjustable panhard rod. I can't really explain it, but lowering the car makes the rear wheels pop out to one side, in your case the right wheel. I think mines the same but it hasn't rubbed
  18. Looks great
  19. I tried some 1200 Wet & Dry on one of the wheels, it's working but I'm gonna get some wire wool too which should make it easier! I took some of the corroded lacquer off by rubbing it down, but now you can tell where there IS lacquer and where there isn't. If I carry on and just polish up the parts which are corroded, I don't think the rest of the rim will be as shiny, so I'm thinking of stripping the lacquer off the whole rim and polishing it all up? What could I use to make stripping the lacquer quicker/easier, because it would take hours with Wet & Dry alone Oh and Anup, I'm thinking of doing the spokes in Gunmetal, but not for a while yet..
  20. My mate's JDM Accord sounds like that when it hits VTEC lmao it's nuts
  21. I thought they were 13? Anyway that's kind of irrelevant now, apparently insurance companies are using a new system where it goes up to 50!
  22. Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice on how to refurbish a Chrome rim? I've been told to use 1200 Wet & Dry/Steel Wool/Autosol but I've got no idea in what order and what exactly to do 3 of my wheels have pretty bad lacquer corrosion, but it's not the whole way around the rim, here's a few pics to show you what I mean The spokes etc are fine as you can see, I just want to restore the rims to their former glory! I'd appreciate any help Thanks Amjad
  23. Focus RS Blue is nice I'm loving the Focus RS Green though I reckon you'd have to have a pretty aggressive looking Glanza to pull it off though, JAM kitted or something!
