  1. Should have my new tyres fitted today, so will update how it feels when they're scrubbed in
  2. You'll have to ask Mikey, Richard. I don't have a clue! Cheers Marc!
  3. Good attitude Chris, what I like to see! A lot of people would be majorly put off after this kind of setback!
  4. Nice Bro! Should be enough to keep you entertained there! Any plans to track it? You should try to come to Japfest 2
  5. Was great to meet you too! Make sure you come and track at one of the two Japfests, thanks again!
  6. I know people will be asking so here goes! Mikey is a top bloke! Was in and out within 7hrs, we got my rear beam modified and refitted with polybushes. The axle is now fully adjustable for camber. It's made a massive difference, I've only been able to run steelies for now on the back but I can already tell it's beneficial! The car back end just bites into the ground now where it used to feel like the back was pushing forwards and making the front wash wide. I haven't gone crazy of course given the tyres are sub 150 wide lol. Will update the thread once I have my alloys back on there but so far so good! Mikey is a great guy to deal with, straight to the point and no messing about. He obviously knows what he's doing! Needless to say your EP is in good hands should you decide to get the same done And some pics to finish off the feedback..
  7. *Update* Well, had a bit of an incident on Friday night lol. Pretty bad fog in Soton, didn't see a brick/similar concrete thing in the road and drove straight over it eek..front wheel took brunt of the hit and is kerbed quite badly, and the rear tyre also blew out. Luckily came to a straight stop despite locking up in the greasy conditions and full car. Inspected the underneath of the car however and all is well, shocks and wishbones etc all good and nothing bent, result! So now onto happier developments, I recently picked up some rear beam polybushes (55mm EP82). Also went to go see Mikey4410 up in Essex to get some work done. Feedback thread: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/78015-mikey4410-did-my-rear-camber/?p=971452 He fabricated my rear axle so it is now fully adjustable for camber (currently on about 2 degrees)! We also fitted the beam bushes and the result is awesome. Despite being on the steelies I can definitely feel a big difference! It bites in corners where it would normally feel like it wants to wash wide and the combo of the bushes had also made the ride better and more solid (in terms of feeling more put together like a newer car). Cannot wait to get the alloys back on to test it out properly! Speaking of, I have a pair of the OZs in the house and I've ordered 2 x Uniroyal Rainsport 3s; here's to hoping they perform as well as their predecessor! I also acquired a set of spare wishbones which Grant is kindly removing the bushes from. They'll then be sent off for powdercoating and be refitted along with my ALK and the last suspension polybushes to complete the set Amjad
  8. Lovely! Can I ask what location that is exactly? Took a few quick phone snaps of my GT in London yesterday, wanna grab someone with a DSLR and go take some more next time I'm there, but dunno where the good spots are!
  9. You'll like the bushes, made a nice difference on mine Could you do me a favour please? Would you be able to measure the brake lines before you fit them?
  10. Awesome! I keep thinking to get a custom rail for my seat made up. Recaro but I want it lower and further back than stock allows
  11. Damn I sold mine too cheap haha! Thought yours were 7J! GLWS
  12. Awesome, John! Think I know who I'll be going to should I need an ECU mapping
  13. Thanks for doing this, looking forward to seeing the results!
  14. My gaps were all over the place out of the box, now at either 0.9 or 1.0mm
  15. Did you figure out if it fits?
  16. Has it been tried in another car? As Tris mentioned I've written what to do with these ECUs a few times, have a search
  17. No point imo, I see 70c even when hooning (alloy civic rad)
  18. Looking good! Phil, I'd have thought a light sand and polish. I polished my rears and they came up just like that
