  1. Her name's Wan Kokeye..... and I'd hit it.
  2. Varta 054, 40quid off ebay and decent amps rating.
  3. Do they not have a code on the packet with either an "I" or an "E"? I think blue is the inlet but can't remember exactly!
  4. I've got 2 pistons with exactly the same failure from both engines I've killed.
  5. Easy to get the old ones out but pulling the new ones through isn't easy unless you have a nice impact gun to help.
  6. Here's my attempt at removing the ABS....
  7. Ah ok makes sense. I made up my own lines with 2 tees for about 20quid, will stick a photo up later... If 90 quid includes all lines and the non-abs valve from Toyota then that seems a good way to go as making up the lines is a pain in the arse!
  8. The TD kits seem to work with the same proportional valve not the non-abs ones? So if you make up lines you should be able to use the same valve.
  9. Yeah found it cheers, may as well give it a go since the parts are so cheap and you can't even so those lines when fitted. Yeah looks pretty simple, I thought you would've done it by now? Are you speaking from personal experience? I'm looking to remove it for better brake feel, it's not gonna make the brakes any worse if you can modulate the brake pressure properly. The ABS triggers far too easily imo and is actually dangerous at times.
  10. I'm interested, how much and what colour (just to be fussy!). Daniel, you've got me thinking about bending up some lines now actually... just need to figure out what other fittings I'd need.
  11. ... and lazy. That would require a trip to a scrappy? Or bits off a breaker I suppose?
  12. The mild steel ones are good but not indestructible... mine is cracked.
  13. Anyone got an ABS removal kit they're not using? I R tight....
  14. Not the usual type of wilwood calipers on that kit.... they look a bit small, sure they still do the job though.
  15. I'm pretty sure they're the same... I've just bought some advertised for a 4age to fit an fte, we can swap if they don't fit!
  16. I live properly in the sticks. I had BC's before the Meister's and definitely find the meisters better for glen blasting, however on track I would've prefered the BC's (or even better the Cusco's I had before them). The BC's are still great for road use though I just think the Meisters have better composure over proper bumps.
  17. The water temperature should always be the same around the 90deg mark (right in the middle with the useless standard gauge), even when driving normally, that's the whole point of the thermostat - it sounds like you need a new one.
  18. Meisters are softer than the BC's, the damping is much better suited for road use.
  19. ... and the size/type of wilwoods
  20. Waste of money if your cooling system works, will just take longer to get upto temperature.
  21. www.sgs-engineering.com Some good stuff on there, just got an engine crane and stand for myself.
  22. Sorry to interrupt bitches... I've got a good condition wheel if you're still needing one?
