  1. The whiteline stuff is awful for rusting, there's no way my panhard rod is adjustable anymore!
  2. No, but an exhaust place won't charge much to move a flange.
  3. Decat off then open the flap which the actuator erm actuates (you'll need to unclip the actuator) then bore out the hole which the flap covers - that is the wastegate. Yeah, or just stick a rag in the wastegate first before attacking it.
  4. Am I the only one wondering where half the front of your car has gone?? Nice turbo set up though.
  5. Port the wastegate with the turbo in place if you can't be arsed taking it off, there should be enough room. Take it out as much as you can, put some tipex on the very edge of the flap and close it so it marks around the wastegate then port it out close to that line but no further.
  6. Ridiculous attention to detail.... except you've fitted the fuel filter upside down.
  7. What's your full list of mods? If possible I would take the adjustable fpr back off (if you have the standard) if you're only boosting up to 0.8bar on the ct9 you don't need the fpr. You could've actually experienced a bit of knock if playing with the fuelling too, if it was knocking it would pull the timing and loose power. Funnily enough mine was running like a bag of shit when I tried to MOT it earlier this year and it was just slightly lean, it struggled to get through the emissions due to that, with the CAT in too. As for the boost issue if it's the standard actuator it may be wea
  8. Just because it has an R reg plate doesn't mean it is actually a '98 either, Ben's isn't 98 spec. I've never seen a '98/'99 with the old interior.
  9. It is a very fair price you tight c*nts. (Ironic coming from a Scot)
  10. Doesn't appear to be a 98 spec judging by the interior (and front bumper), so definitely not worth it.
  11. I expected it to blow but hoped it would last a little longer than it did! That's a TD12, another guy up here had the same setup but forged and pushed it to 1.4 bar and the graph looked the same but peaked at 260bhp
  12. Yeah it is a good powerband! It ran 1 track day and about 40 miles on back roads (about 200miles in total) then dropped compression in cylinder 4 but the engine had a hard life and was over 100k miles, I've not taken it apart yet but suspect it's just the piston rings as it had been smoking for a wee while.
  13. The wiring diagram on tgtt.com is correct....
  14. It doesn't run out of pufff at the redline.... Also note the temperature during that dyno run- 28degC High boost was 1.2bar
  15. The TD12 hybrid uses a TF035 compressor housing with TD04 internals and CT12 exhaust housing, spools only marginally slower than a ct9 with good power.
  16. Item For Sale: OMP 4 point Harnesses (Pair) Item Condition & Description: These are road legal (E marked) 4 point bolt in harnesses, they will fit in the standard belt positions with the original bolts. They're in good condition with no rips or dodgy stains, one of the plastic covers on the lap belt adjuster has broken, all it does is lightly hold the two metal clips together so I just put a couple of cable ties on them and it still works fine (the plastic obviously doesn't take any load), the two broken parts of the cover are there so could be glued back together. Price: £90 posted
  17. Rocket bunny 86.... awesome. When's it getting a turbo??
