It shouldn't. It will only move when you exceed your set boost level - and that won't happen on the spot!

How hard did you look?.... not very:p http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OXYGEN-O2-LAMBDA-SENSOR-1-WIRE-UNIVERSAL-/270799349337?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0ce62659 -
The standard one would probably snap on that jig then!

Pretty much all aftermarket ones will be much stiffer than the stock one, it has a very thin wall tube with pathetic thin welds onto the end plates, the adjustable plates on the likes of a cusco are solid once bolted down. Grab the stock one and give it a good shake - it will flex easily, a cusco or similar won't.

Had mine off a few weeks ago after about 5 years of running and the tape was completely intact.

PTFE (Plumbers) tape on the threads.

Thanks mate, somehow even with all the problems I do still have the love for it, especially now with the new turbo! It is a good little turbo and well suited to these cars imo, spools a little earlier than the TD04 but doesn't give away much power or torque. As some know I took the Glanza down to Japfest at Knockhill on Sunday and ventured out on track for the first time, it was great fun and the wee car ran surprisingly well until it blew an intercooler pipe off and I just couldn't get it stay on after that. It was a shame as I was just getting up to speed and starting to keep up with s -
No, that's for the airbag (and horn) on later models which changed the type of detonation system it uses for the airbag. The '96 has a brass ring with contact pin for the horn. The indicators are self cancelled by a small tab which locates on a plastic grey ring on the steering column, it's probably just not lined up.

UKSO Wins Best Stand @ Japfest 2!

Congrats guys, great turnout. Common as muck these little cars. -
It's not definite that all p&p ecu's will remove the speed cut.... but it doesn't sound like speed cut! Sounds like a misfire.

Good day this! Nice to meet a few faces off here and have a chat plus my car ran very well - when the intercooler hoses weren't popping off!

Cheers Ryan, yeah good fun - not quite the same as 350 odd bhp though Yeah gotta love a bit of screamer action and it sounds muh better than it did with the ct9 too. Thanks mate, yeah no bother, give me a shout when you get round to it - your brackets should fit straight on aslong as you get discs with the correct offset for the bells. -
Yup done. ;)

The standard ct9 (not the original one as it blew up a long time ago!) has finally been upgraded in favour of a lovely and pretty rare TD12. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking: Firstly the old setup before removal; http://s202.photobucket.com/user/WallaceGlanza/media/My%20Glanza%20V/IMG_1535_zps483496db.jpg.html'> Comparison of the CT9 and TD12; http://s202.photobucket.com/user/WallaceGlanza/media/My%20Glanza%20V/IMG_1537_zps17011005.jpg.html'> http://s202.photobucket.com/user/WallaceGlanza/media/My%20Glanza%20V/IMG_1538_zps4dd1941e.jpg.html'> http://s202.photo -
Cool, yeah come and have a chat if you see me about! I'll look out for a red NA too!

Whilst the other japfest is happening down south there is also one at Knockhill tomorrow, anyone going? Think I'll be throwing the glanza round the track.

Best tyres for a daily v need as much grip as poss!! (dry)
WallaceGlanza replied to smb2011's topic in Alignment & Alloys
Parada's are dangerous in the wet! (Especially when it's only slightly wet) Good in the dry though. -
The stock oil pressure sensor is on the right of the block when looking from the front, at the bottom just to the right of the turbo downpipe, the tee piece should be all you need to fit an aftermarket pressure sensor

Black leather, 4 spoke.
-
Yup, I would say your explanation is correct! Turbo rebuild required...

A stock ct9 will give you 150whp with right mods at 1bar, simple setup, good spool and easy to replace.

They're pretty much all listed in the hyper revs book which is scanned somewhere on here.
