Where Can I Buy Exhaust PolyBush Rubbers?
WallaceGlanza replied to HiReN's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I used these, much cheaper than the silly price for powerflex ones: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E-TECH-Heavy-Duty-Exhaust-Mounts-Universal-Pack-of-3-10mm-Dia-Exhaust-Hanger-/200720582577?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ebbe107b1 -
Just to prove my point, copied from craigs plates.... "Self-adhesive number plates for the bonnet of your car! These number plates are reflective, and pass BSAU145d reflection tests; the characters are cut to the correct size and font, ie New Charles Wright. The height is 79mm and the spacing is correct as per DVLA requirements. However, these plates are NOT road legal" I'm not doing this to be a dick by the way just making it clear for you, my plate isn't exactly erm full size...
-
Some of the small kit cars use them and non-mass produced sports cars from bigger manufacturers too but they're still not legal, the 5-0 just turn a blind eye, plus I'm sure the plate has to be mounted vertically too. However a lot of plates are illegal and the police won't notice but if you do want a legal one it has to be BS marked.
-
There is a british standard for number plates which they need to conform to (BS AU 145d) this needs to be marked on the plate to be legal, stick on ones won't be. Plus they look gash.

I've got a few old photos of this too - it has lambo/gullwing doors too! -
I run 288mm hi spec 2 piece discs with wilwood calipers behind 15" rays - I did manage to fit 300mm discs behind my 15" TSW's too...
-
That's just a metric to BSP fitting, looks like the kits Dave B (TMD) sold so will be fine.
-
Will probably be about 5mm which is fine, there's no oil restrictor needed on the td04.
-
It depends on the oil line you intend to use as to whether to will work - you'll obviously need it to suit the adaptor you've bought which is likely to be a JIC fitting, the oil lines the traders sell use a banjo connection which is to suit a banjo bolt not the type of adaptor you have.
-
Also bear in mind there is more than one shade of 205 black....
-
It's very common for the head to crack in that area, it happens on standard cars so the most likely cause is the restriction in the standard exhaust mani creating a build up of heat in that area.
-
The fan is only really needed when the car is stationary so that's not your problem. Sounds more like the hole in the radiator was already there or made when you fitted the actuator - the coolant will blow out the overflow before making a hole in the radiator!
-
Blue one is indeed off ebay but has been fitted with mesh to help the gases coalesce, the actual can is just that no matter what you buy!
-
This guy has all the fittings and lines you'd need.... http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Torques-U-K?_trksid=p2047675.l2563 You just need to figure out what you need though!
-
Buy the individual hose fittngs (earls style) from ebay and make the lines yourself, cheaper and look nicer.

how do you know when the clutch is on it's way out?
WallaceGlanza replied to leemillin's topic in Engines
Find a steep hill, put your foot down in 3rd or 4th gear where the engine will be putting out a bit of torque and see if you make it up the hill, if the revs go up but you don't the clutch is slipping! -
I've used both and the meister's are better.
