4efe Engine and 4efte Engine??
micky boy replied to StarletMad's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
If you got a JDM 4efe 100ps engine then yeah you can turbo that as the pistons are the same as a turbo just uses a thicker head gasket -
This has come a long long way since my mate owned it, well done bud keep it up

No problem mate if you do end up puting an FCD on make sure you get the fueling checked because its alright haveing a little device such as the FCD to tell the ECU porkey pies i.e tells the ecu to fuck of when you hit fuel cut but realy fuel cut is there for a reason (to save the engine and make it over fuel) because the stock ecu can not fuel the engine enuf past factory boost settings so say you do put an FCD on and didnt get the fueling checked and told the ecu porkey pies you will kill the engine!! so make sure you get everything checked most people end up useing a fuel pressure regulator
-
So no lights on the dash what so ever?
-
First things first have you checked to make sure the buibles are working in the clocks? if you dont have any spare ones then use the ones that do work in the clocks..
-
Depends on how deep your pockets are realy lol It only fuel cuts because its creeping pass factory boost settings (thinks its 12psi) theres a few ways to stop it going passed that and thats put your 1st 2nd gear hi/low boost pipes back to how they should be or if you havent done that and its still over boosting at high rpm then a good boost controller can help stableize boost pressure along with a stronger actuator. If you are wanting to make more power and turn the boost up (with supported mods) then yeah an aftermarket ecu would be the best thing to start with i.e if you are wanting 200bhp

Yeah mate fuel cut get your self an hks actuator and port the wastgate and it should help

Another quesion lol just measured the centre bore on my hub and it is indeed 55mm so if the center bore is 60mm on the Astra disc do i need to still take 1.5mm off the blue mark like shown in the pic above? or do i just need to get a 5mm spacer made up to accommodate the 5mm play on the 60mm astra discs?
