  1. Yeah blue smoke! The thing i dont get is you would think if it was the valve stems then it would smoke more on start up as when the engine gets warm the valve stem seals expand and make more of a seal so to speak! madness
  2. No mate smells of oil

  10. Hi guys wondering if you could help me! I had a play with a 3.0L v6 C2 last week i noticed the next morning my JP manifold had a crack in it so i changed that and took it for its first spin yesterday!..Well everything was ok untill i got to Mcdonalds and was waiting in the drive throu for about 10mins and noticed quite abit of smoke behind me so give the throttle a quick blip and it went but give it a few seconds and it was back!!! So i thought must be the turbo so got another turbo off Phil and changed that today and its still doing it!!!..So my question is is it the Vavle stems? If so that just puts a Cap on the shitters year i have ever had! Just to note i dont have any oil coming out of the rocker cover breather so its not my ring lands! Thanks in advance
  11. I take it you are runnig a baileys dump valve? if so bin it!!! they always fill up with oil it dont always mean the turbo seals have gone! But i cant understand why you still dont have boost?!!!
  12. I dont have any pics at the min. But yeah the nipple closest to the front of the car go's onto the nipple comeing off the turbo compressor houseing! the other nipple just leave all together it dont need to go anywhere just let it blow into the atmosfera Hope this helps if you still get stook lets use know.
  13. Yeah i know you only mentioned it because of Hazell's post i was just makeing it abit more clearer lol..Good luck dude hope shes boosting right for you by tonight
  14. Yes the shifter will work in a glanza Glwts bud
  15. Yeah it seams to of only changed since the new skin has been done!
  16. Yeah unblock the other nipple and it should boost as it should! And no you shouldnt have a vac pipe runnig from the inlet into the turbo thats deffo rong
  17. Is she boosting ok now?
  18. So you can Will ask him to change that then lol cheers for clearing that up matey
  19. Hmm i dont have a clue Matt lol im useing my old mans computer :/ will ask him though! if it hasnt changed then that isnt a problem I also cant see other peoples?
  20. Haha we do need it back like i agree cant see mine either
  21. The gsr is the same engine but has different internals to the likes of the FQ. My mate had a gsr 260 and it was poo theres only so much you can do to them befor the engine go's pop! Tell him to save his money and go for an FQ model iinsurance will be a tad more but will be worth it in the end!
  22. Flames? deffo runnig rich lol. That head wrap will also play apart in that
  23. If you are runnig the stock ct9 along with the stock actuator then they sould be 2prongs comeing off the actuator the first prong closest to you go's onto the turbo and the other prong is for the HI/Low boost but if you are not useing that then just leave it dont block it off as you wont get full boost in 1st 2nd gear. The one for the dump valve sounds about right depending on what vaccum nipple you have chosen!
