Rear Beam Bushes Need Done !
The_Notorious_C_A_T replied to Gaz's GlanzaV's topic in Chassis & Suspension
I've got trd rear bushes on my car, although I replaced all bushes on the car for new uprated ones. -
I should have been a salesman huh

I'm looking at the silent hi power hks system as well, I don't like silly loud exhausts. Although when giving it some, you want a bit of note, which the hks does from what I've read.

my experience of toyo's are that they are complete pish. I didn't like the flex they gave, and I run all my tyres at 30psi. Also they wore down very quickly. I run falken 912's just now and they seem decent enough. Although haven't got to cain them in the dry, wet seems ok, but I throw the boots in 3rd anyway due to the power.

I'm quite a demanding customer as well tbh, but I'm also a realist. Christmas time orders get delayed, it is what it is. Communication is the key. For me, if I'm spending a few grand with someone, I expected to be treated well. Constant communication. Same when I sell, I keep in constant communication, as folk who have bought from me will be able to testify. If I can do that, yet I work offshore and aren't home 50% of the time, then surely traders should be able to fire a quick email or whatever. A customer should never have to be chasing sellers for info. You kept me up to date, and gave me a buzz, can't say fairer than that. You, Burwash and Mark are the ones I have dealt with so far that I would not hesitate to send you silly amounts of money if the right bit of gear I wanted came available.

Yeah it's cool to use it bud. I would do a bit more of an indepth one sometime but I kind of don't know what else to say really. Except the quality was great like the bc's, all fitted no problem and nothing needed to be modded at all. Rear was nice and easy to set the height to as well as I had a reference, and since it's c spanners it aint rocket science either :surrender: But great quality at a great price. I believe they are the cheapest decent branded coil overs available at the moment? Not to say bc's are rubbish, as they difinately aren't, but my bc's where a few k miles at most, in mint condition yet I swapped them for new Meisters, as the Meisters fitted my needs more with the rubbish roads around here, I would say they give a bigger scope of potential users with the range of dampening being wider in the softer area. Nah I knew you also had a good deal going as well bud, just I got them from tgtt and meister themselves so credit where credit was due really. It was more of a saying like can't complain if you get me, not stating a fact that it was the cheapest place I could get them. I would have probably got em off you if your site had said they where in stock.
-
Sparky have you just changed your avatar? I did a mini review of em on tgtt, can't copy and paste on the rig machines though. But the quality is the same as bc, so they are good quality. They are more suited to my needs though, as the dampers are at like setting 10 from the softest they can go so nice and can go lower at the back which isn't a major thing but nice to have the option. My opinion is the same as Enzo's, if you have really bumpy roads, and don't want a hardcore car, these are for you. If you don't mind having a rougher feeling car bc's are great quality though, just a bit harsher dampening, as my bc's where as low as possible at the back without chaning pre tension on the spring and the softest dampening setting as well, but still not as soft as the meisters at ten up from the softest. For neutral point of view, i would say meisters get the vote if both where the same price and both new. Although if you like your car firmer, maybe bc's could get the edge but I haven't seen what these are like on the hardest setting. So for a greater scope of dampening adjustment I would say meisters are the ones to get, softer if you want them, but harder available. As the bc's the softest setting is quite firm.

thats the hrf one aint it?

think it's just past it's year anniversary by a few days actually! I wouldn't bother with a ct9, a td04 is nice and fine for quick road in my opinion. Will pm you details bud. I had a digital dash in my 106 gti, was cool as fuck. Unfortunately though most things seem to have been done before with a starbo really, well anything my dumbass can think of like!
-
Not a problem bud, I am of the opinion that if someone asks for an opinion they will get one. Whether they like it or not! Why not put in digital dash to make it more unique? Thats one of the things I was thinking of. Although my car has the shifter to make it unique, thats why I had to have it, something different Or buy my car for an insanely large amount of cash
-
Just keep it you bellend! If you buy a new car, you will need to sort all the problems all over again, I know it, had lots of silly things wrong with mine thanks to the previous twat who owned it. And you car looked mint when I saw it, so if you did sell it, probably at less than it's truely worth, you'll then miss it and either have to buy it back for more most likely or less but after some goon has ragged it to shit. Or buy another mans car (82) then have to sort the problems again or a more expensive one but with less problems! My take on shit. Word.

second person to say that sorry bud, but deffo not a red car tbh, but appreciate you providing options ;) Can anyone photoshop those pics of my car in the vxr blue and also the cossie blue? would be awesome if someone could
-
thanks for all the options so far lads! At the moment I'm leaning towards the escort cosworth blue! Although any other suggestions that aren't to in your face or flashy?

I generally mis trust any website with no contact number. Far to easy to ignore emails.

I'm in provisionally, as I might not even be onshore so can't say 100% yet.

Isn't just students that don't pay attention to dead lines
-
the motor as it is just now.

this is a colour I really like, although unsure what it is for 100%, it's my old gti.

I'm planning on getting the car resprayed fully externally in the summer. It's a mk3 ep82 quadlight in black just now. External colour can be different as I'm fine with the engine bay and inside the cabin being black. Any suggestions of colours, with pics if possible? So far I've thought of the green that ep82's come in. And maybe like a Subaru blue as potential colours.
