  1. The same forces are still imposed on the material regardless. It's cheap nasty aluminium. Tell me, if its so good, why hasn't it caught on in OEM circles? Because nobody on their right mind would trust aluminium to hold on a wheel which is subjected to extreme longitudal and lateral forces. And lets be honest, what are you gaining from using aluminium compared to steel wheel nuts? A few grams of unsprung weight per corner, or is it for the bonus JDM SCENE POINTS YO! ??? Quite simply, cheap aluminium wheel nuts arent worth jack sh*t, they use steel for a reason.
  2. PayPal dispute to cover your arse. Plenty on ebay.
  3. All you're doing is bridging the neutral switch. Nothing more.
  4. Need some pics of underside matey!
  5. ATF-Automatic Transmission fluid. Nothing special lol
  6. So why dont manufacturers use them from factory? Aluminum fasteners shouldn't be used on high torque/load applications regardless of whether or not they've been fitted correctly. The tensile strength isn't there to withstand the forces acted upon them. And the above torque figures are for a steel wheel nut. Do you know the correct figure for aluminium? They use steel because it stretches and keeps the tension. Aluminum doesn't do that, it shears.
  7. And yet people still swear by alloy studs/nuts. If they were that good, manufacturers/race teams would use them. Lucky escape though, glad everyone is alright.
  8. Go on. What's the figure lol?
  9. New shocks and better springs. Will be far softer than any coilover package. Go to soft and you're defeating the object.
  10. Cant believe its up for sale again, what happened?
  11. Aslong as you lubricate them with moly or copper grease to stop oxidising.
  12. I've had corsa's for years, never had a breakdown. Comfortable, reliable. And you get those same drivers in any car lol.
  13. Get some pics up of the underside, sills, chasis members. Plenty of nice MX5's ontop but underneath is a different story.
  14. Any close up pics of the underside? Chassis rails etc? Any jacking damage underneath? Thanks
  15. Paid membership, a decent advert.
  16. Twice listed now and no sale. Now on its third go. Why arent people buying? Dodgy car? Or just nobody looking to spend?
  17. Straight. Angled wouldn't look right on this. How come you're not decatting at the same time?
