  1. Low battery power??? Is the battery charging? That'll cause the starter motor to throw the solenoid out but not for it to spin the flywheel. Try a different battery, also check to see if the alternator is throwing a current out, if not, then it may be your starter motor that is the culprit. Damien
  2. Trade card my friend:P Damien
  3. Won't the mk 1 gt brakes fit?? Damien
  4. Just to give you an idea, the glanza discs are around 256x22mm as for my SR and other UK spec cars being 238x18mm. Damien
  5. My SR doesn't have V brakes on it, don't think any of the UK spec cars did come with the bigger brakes Damien
  6. Don't like the eg shape, prefer the ek myself Damien
  7. Yeah. You bought a car that needs work, a rolling project, which is what I don't want. And it's not because of a few bad ones, it's the people that have a reasonable condition one but ask stupid prices and refuse to budge, it seems common with glanzas and gt's. And they are, the older they are the more work is needed, and I just can't be arsed with it anymore, especially in this weather Damien
  8. I'll find out tomorrow. Not fussed about anything older than the SR, the crx's are getting pretty old and rusty, and for what clean ones are left, people are asking silly money, which is what is putting me off starlets. Damien
  9. Will be doing tomorrow, got a courtesy car for now but need one for when I go back Damien
  10. Driven glanzas, driven gt's, quite like them but finding one I want is the awkward part. Speed isn't important because I don't drive pedal down everywhere, very rarely go over 75. Aslong as its reasonably comfortable and handles okay, then it's good. Plus if I get bored with the civic I can soon convert it to a B16 or B18 Damien
  11. Been looking, thought I may aswell go for a glanza so I can swap all the parts off the SR. Not looking for something super fast or anything yet. The 1.4 has more power than the starlet and from what i've heard will handle better Damien
  12. Just a 1.4 for now. Don't need nothing fantastic. Was looking at getting a glanza or gt but too many idiots about asking too much money, so thought i'd try a different route. Damien
  13. Anybody on here know much about civics? Looking at a 99 civic and would just like to know a little more about them, any help would be appreciated, Thanks Damien
  14. Depending on what the insurance does regarding my car Phil, i'll have some near new Tein Springs on newish Shockers all round. Damien
  15. I know lol, it's all good:D Damien
  16. You're best asking MikeGlanzaV on here who had that starlet, but from what I can remember it was silly loud lol. Damien
  17. Pays to keep them well adjusted and look after:) i've no problems with mine Damien
  18. You'll find the BC racing are the best of the bunch, they're a far better build quality, and the internal valve design is very robust unlike the teins which are flimsy in comparison. Damien
  19. Its alot cheaper if done right, but less hassle to buy one imported, buy one for as little as possible, then you've got more to spend lol. Damien
  20. I know, depends what I do regarding the starlet. And I will do matey, will keep an eye out, thanks for the heads up Damien
  21. Lol, I want to, I think after christmas i'll look into it, there's no blitz buggies about at the moment, so will just bide my time, will try and get one thats got little to it, looking at getting a new car first though Damien
  22. Yeah it would, fancy something with a little more character though lol, the gixxer engine is way too common now. Maybe an SV1000 or mille engine, dunno lol, need a buggy first lol Damien
  23. Tell him if you're paying that kind of money you want the job done properly. Damien
