i thot the hardest bit ( after the initial migraine ) was figuring what plugs should go over the big bar or under lol. then realising you put it all over the top for one stupid plug not to reach lol

I was looking for a thread from a while ago with a good description of what pipes on the tb are for the vac and which ones are for coolant. Just got my ep85 running again after i swapped alternator ages ago and I've gotten 2 round the wrong way. I just need to move it back really but need it running because the handbrakes stuck on after sitting a while. Thanks Russell

lookin good man. Gear oil in general is bloody horrible. i was still smellin it for weeks after gettin it all over my clothes and had to throw em out lol

are you able to get a pic of the pulleys in question as i dont see any small recess on mine. I can get you a picture later on but apparently all the batteries within my household are in need of a recharge haha

its a tough one to decide because if you buy a new engine id do a full service on it and get a new oil pump and water pump because the last thing you want is another serious issue so thats more money on the new engine bill Then if you decided to repair , your going to need to replace oil pump , water pump ( while its easy ), rings , big end and main bearings and thrust washers , headbolts and headgasket and then finally your timing belt and tensioners. Probably check the oil pressure switch aswell. Then ontop of those parts your going to need to go get the block honed and possibly bored if y
