  1. Must be a million things you could do to it but they are better standard lol . had a mate who put a g60 engine Into his. Great fun. How much is it for sale for anyway ? Russell
  2. I like it and I don't think the price is extreme. Maybe more than others but with reason. Let a war not be started over the simple sale of an item . Russell
  3. How the hell did they convince 2 people to walk in front of that last one with a crash mat haha
  4. I think this has been leaking on all 3 starlets I've owned . I think it's just that thing these engines do lol
  5. Dammit. Saves me a long trip I suppose. Lol
  6. I'm sure nanglebadger used to / still has them on his blurple machine . going to have to check now
  7. This still for sale ?
  8. Stick 2 it man. Cars like to test you lol. I had to sell my 4 paw project years Ago and although it was to fund a kid and a house I wish I had the chance to finish it so just win the battle. Lookin amazing so just keep on it. Russell
  9. Unfortunate with the tyre. Cars looking good though
  10. Love the colour of the wheels
  11. Used to have an n/a sleeper. Just looked like a standard silver n/a with a stupid big exhaust on it .Just an awesome feeling knowing your leaving someone behind think wtf
  12. Stickers only make a car go faster if arranged in a list like fashion down the drivers door . fact . Slipknot however do make cars faster lol. Cars looking good. Russell
  13. Cusco all the way. Had a white line panhard rod and it just wouldn't stay tight and ended up knackering the threads. Replaced with a second hand cusco. Fixed
  14. Could be its just a small leak between the coolant and a cylinder causing the system to pressurise when under load. Does your coolant smell burnt or like an exhaust. Russell
  15. Cool project man. That's how I started learning about cars. Bought a glanza rep with the n/a engine and just started doing stuff. Nice cars to work on I think. Good luck mot wise
  16. Even some garages are a waste of time. Balljoint was shot on one of my n/a's and I just wanted it sorted for mot. They wouldn't even give me a price as they didn't know how easy it would come out. Took it home 5 mins hacksawing down the side of the bolt andc a hammer and it was done . a mechanic that struggles with that is a mechanic that I won't use again lol
  17. Sweet looking car. The little bits do make a massive difference . keep up the good work . Russell
  18. Shit the bed . was wondering what you had been up to with your build. I was thinking you couldn't have much left that you could do lol . looks epic man . now I shall continue going back the pages and see what I find Russell
  19. gonna be some car this. Started from your first post since if hardly been on here in 2 years so sat down and had a proper read through. Now I'm at the last post and must see more. Looking amazing so far man. Better catch up on other builds as well . Russell
  20. Doing the engine conversion on my old starlet I first forgot to tighten the fuel rail bolt and ended up with a fuel fountain. Same day different problem . car finished ready for test drive I'm gutted its somehow hitting fuel cut yet was running 1.2 bar on a hybrid before. Hours of stress and I'd forgotten a single wire on the fuel cut defender. Also done an oil change once And couldnt find my oil filter cup anywhere and the filter was tight. I thought I'm going to have to go the old ha!!er a screwdriver through it route. Was thinking the middle of this filter is hard as I couldn't get through . well its because I was hammering the mliving daylights out of the threads on the filter housing. Much fun was had that day .
  21. Yeah its almost like that. The actual camshaft is in a fixed position but they machine a bit off the bottom and then shim it up effectively giving you more lift. Not sure what gains you would see from this on a 4efe. Someone else may know more
  22. Would all depend on what duration and lift the new cams had compared to the old ones. Dont think there's such a thing as a general machining process. Head would need shimmed as well. Russell
  23. Been told only an externally gated td05 or 06.
  24. I double checked with zisco and the kit will directly fit any externally gted td05 or td06.
  25. Bump. Price lowered again
