hey dude i rebuilt mine the last time but it only lasted about a year but i used old standard pistons and ran 1.2 bar so thats probably why haha. I used that guys vids for most of it. Mine was just a quick rebuild tho so i didnt go as far as checking all the tolerances etc. The only glitch i had really was the crank caps. once i has taken them off and installed new bearings its like they didnt fit back into their spaces as easily and when the bolts were tightened down onto them it squeezed them in and stopped the crank from being able to turn. I just took a bit of sandpaper and cleaned up the bit of the block and the sides off all the caps and it sorted it but im unsure if that means something is way out or not. Overall i thought it was relativly enjoyable to do apart from doing it in a hurry. Was my first engine build too. Id say as long as you make sure all the tolerances are spot on and everythings clean you cant go wrong I havent rebuilt a head yet but i do have a spare i might practice on lol.

theres a travelodge or premier inn at the roundabout near the morrisons on the way. its loads closer so the gates i may skip the meet point and go here next time

u dont have to join a sqaud in battlefield tho i like the realism with stuff like medics and resupplying ammo etc and vehicles with the massive maps. where a sniper can actually be a sniper and you can actually use teamwork if your in a decent squad. You get rewarded for being a team player quite well aswell ie revive point and heal points aswell a avenger kills and repairing shiznit. I've just gotten bored of all the CODs now. ps im not trying to start one of them this vs that debates lol i have as much time for them as i do the xbox and playstation thing ;)

u need a big breaker bar for these dude. they just seize on no matter what. on my old car that was just sittin out in the drive i had just finger tightened 1 of them as itg would be back off soon and a month later i still had to breaker bar it off. get like a 2 ft breaker bar on it and stick a 19 on the otherside so if both sides spin it will stop when it hits the caliper. prepare to have a sore hand from the shock when it breaks free lol

i thot this story is quite good compared to the last 2 and the playing is better aswell. the 1st 2 games were just get to this objective, ok now your here get to this objective lol. ill be back on multiplayer soon. my liver account got suspended for one of my cards running out haha. bit harsh i think

I aint played it yet but ill probably get it for the campaign. as far as online goes i feel like they just add a few different maps from last games and then change the killstreaks / weapons a bit so it feels more like an expansion pack all the time and then they release the maps from previous games tat you can pay to play on the new game haha. Online i prefer Battlefield and have for the last 3 games but the battlefield stories never used to be good but this one has a more intresting approach plus you cant go wrong with vehicles online and massive maps. I want to run like full braided lines tho. From master cyclinder to the bias valve n then 1 piece to each caliper. its easy to make up( bar a few bits of braid stuck into your fingers) but i just wanted the catalogue lol. Dont worry the rest of the car will be more than worthy of the head lol. And with head studs it should be good for 2.5 bar. Problem being that my Turbo is good for about 1.5 haha. Extra turbo ? lol jokes. @shaz - I havent even started yet really. It may be ambitious but i plan to replace or refurbish every single part . I know i wont be starting ro assemble anything till i have the next big steps sorted out. Engine wise im talking about a good clutch and flywheel combo , Good management , forged bottom end and front and rear lsds when they become available I think I've decided im gonna buy a fully assembled forged bottom end tho as after reading up and learning how to build engines i realised how many tolerances there are and id like someone with more experience than me to be responsible for the small part thats going to make of break my engine lol

Thanks guys. I think i might use the ep 85 in the winter for a while just becuase I've done alot more miles in my auris than i thought i would lol but as soon as the days get longer again its flame on for a major stripage and the next step will be off to proper good bodyshop for a new coat and some underseal:). Im not looking forward to that part because i know it will cost alot. I had sent away for a catalogue from a brake specialist for making up full custom braided brake lines but it never turned up andnow i cant remember where i found them lol. Im also going to look into brakes in general as id like to upgrade the rears and i know theres isnt much in the way of an of the shelf upgrade especially for the ep85s. I still need to look into it so expect a thread on here soon but from my point of view should i not be able to put pretty much any brakes onto the back if i just had a custom carrier made up ? brake lines will all be made by me anyway and i was going to get an adjustable brake bias control aswell. that would just leave handbrake cables i think but thats from my point of view and i know nothing of brakes but i just thought that if i can upgrade the fronts to larger calipers etc with no worry about anything to do with a master cylinder then surely the same applies to the rear lol. I sure can ramble on sometimes @shaun - Im super impatient haha i just feel like its going to be worth it but im not gonna lie and say it hasnt crossed my mind to spend 500 on a turbo lump and turbo it quickly haha

Another little update but an update non the less. Got my pulleys and cam gear a couple weeks ago but wanted to wait till i had something else aswell so it wasnt just 1 thing lol new pulleys n cam gear and also my new steering wheel steering wheel seems really good quality and it passed the bend test with flying colours haha. Decent updates should come after the winter as i keep all my moneyt in winter just incase i get snowed off work for 6 weeks like last year . slowly getting there. I may start buying more of the standard replacement parts i need as apposed to performance parts next just so i have time to change my mind haha hope you like my small update. Russell
