Some are ok and you don't see them too often yet so a rare car atm. I've been test driving lots of cars lately the new civic type R was a very nice car, couldn't fit in a celica GT very well but have now found something that fits the bill ;)

Rip the dash out cable tie the speedo cluster to the bar that runs behind the dash i wouldn't remove that as you will prob remove some strength from the shell.

Tommy i take it the cars your thinking of are like the one in the vid below? These are the older Bosozoku styled cars but as the Bosozoku gangs have moved on the style of cars has gone more towards the VIP cars the one at keighly is a mixture of the two really. From an option DVD driving around in a Bosozoku car.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk1HjfHPzjQ BO: Violent / Violence or Exposure SO: Race / Racing, Running or Traveling ZOKU: Clan Mnemonic: A Violent Racing Clan / A Clan Racing Along The Ground Quickly In the 70's these were Japan's answer to the hell's angels: Real Bosoz

You can get cheaper/better ones to get into rc drifting than the Yokomo kits i'll get some pics up of mine when i've got it and the built it. Nitro's are really hard to drift and it puts quite alot of stress on the engine so i've been reading anyway back to cool vids: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=48...drift&hl=en

what sort of price would a 1997 glanza v go for?
Simon replied to jon5698's topic in Lifestyle General
It has to be 10 years old so it it was march you will have to wait till march to register it. -
Those wheels are ok but see them in the flesh fist i was looking at them but wasn't that impressed with the quality compared to the other rota rims

Glad your on the mend Geo All this talk of roll cages is not a good idea i had one to fit to my glanza when i was building it but this was a dedicated track car really and not something i'd be using on the road everyday. In a crash like that how do you think your head would fair against the metal bars of a roll cage...... Roll cages are designed to be used in a car where the occupants are wearing crash helmets if they are used in an everyday car and you were in a bad accident your probably more likely to cause yourself serious injury with a cage than without.

Sorry to here this Geo mate glad your not badly injured and hope to make a full recovery asap... You'll be back with a bigger better Glanza mate cars can be replaced you can't! Simon

Look for something from someone like Newera you'll get alot better car from someone like that rather than going to someone like keighly trade center at the end of the day you get what you pay for.

Well if it had a front mount then it was modified so what mods had it got and were they done correctly because it doesn't sound like it i had mine for 4 years and never really let me down in that time only small things worst was a flasher relay lol. There is plenty not lot of shite about you just have to find a good one and that take a bit of time not a bid on ebay! Simon

What are planning to do with the car power wise??? You wont get any more power swapping the JAM for the F-con. If your looking at going bigger turbo sell the JAM they fetch silly amounts of money for what they are then buy the piggy back of full ecu that your chosen tuner is most happy using this could be anything from a unichip or e-mannage upto motec or a link.

4 bolts to take a door off an EP91 I should know my Glanza was a bare shell when i had finished ;) I would think you'll find the wiring already there on the main dash board loom ready to plug the door looms into for the electric windows as i doubt toyota would make 2 different looms would be cheaper to have the stuff there ready to plug in. It's a hard one to comment on this i've been on TGTT for years and seen may people come and go as i don't have any interest in the max power/ fast car mags i'm not sure on this but judging buy some of the members they must have. What does annoy me is the amount of gt's and glanza's that are not insured as imports and turbos this will only come back to haunt people!! Also these cars are cheap there is no getting away from that fact now BUT there is allot of trash out that and they are cheap to modify and maintain which is where allot of people seem to have trouble with them i think they expect
