£1600 for a vti sounds cheap. There are alot of cheap starlets about but not many of them are good ones there is alot of trash coming over now. Simon

to be honest if you brought the mr2 wouldn't you always be wishing you had the turbo version?? I would go for GT or Glanza as there is no better model you can get. People say pulsars have problems but when will people understand the kind of car they are they are by no means an everyday car they are a rally car for the road any were out there at the time of very early scumbaru's and evo's which also have there faults. They are though an awesome car when used and tuned correctly but i'm starting to see more and more of them falling into the wrong hads.. Simon

Turbo timers are not illegal but leaving a car running unattended is so really defeats the idea of a turbo timer Buyers Guide All Turbo starlets are imports unless itâ??s a UK car thatâ??s been converted. First off here is some background into imported cars from Japan: The Japanese Car Market Japan has the largest domestic car market in the Far East, with major car manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi and Mazda proving popular across the world as well as Japan. Due to the limited space for road vehicles in Japan strict regulations along with other factors have shape

What size alloys are best for the starlett

If you want to go quick stick with 15's. If it's looks then 17's are good. Problem you find with 16's is they are not that commonly used so the tyres tend to cost more money. Simon -
Well worth every penny i have a quaife in mine. Suspension plays a big part aswell what set-up have you got? Simon
-
Sheely the ones that mark sells are for a Glanza though which has the different shaped lights. Newstyle is the only place i have seen them. Simon

Depends how far you want to go my setup is: Cusco master cylinder brace APP stainless brake lines Std rear discs with project mu pads Levin 2 pot front calipers Corolla discs 5mm thicker than stock EBC red stuff pads Simon
-
Where the caliper bracket bolts to the hub on the mr2's it's 150mm appart on the starlet and levin calipers it's 130mm Simon

What Jay has said is good advise the tock manifold is pants. As for the FCD v ECU it all depends on how far you plan to take your tune for what you are after 189 @ fly an FCD and fuel preuure regulator "should" be ok. If you want to go further then an upgraded fuel pump and some 330 or even 440cc injectors might be needed. Simon
-
Are you talking 180bhp at the fly or wheels? You will need some sort of fuel controller for that kind if figure the CT9 will be right on it's upper limits to achive that figure anyways you might be best looking at the TD04 route. Simon
