The UV helps on a tropical setup by killing bacteria, it does kill all bacteria though mate as you know so both good and bad get killed but only what passes through it so the good in the tank and filter are ok. Was given it by a mate like i said and he was having good results on his tropical setup seems like everything in fish keeping you get lots of different advice and conflicting advice depending on who you talk to just seems best to find out what works for you.

Yeah did mine yesterday too! Had a spare filter running in there but have taken that out now and piped the UV into the system that was a free cast off from a mate at work!

Will try and get some this week mate glass needs a clean but want the new fish to settle in a bit first before i start cleaning. It's a 200l bow fronted Rena tank. Been trying to resist getting another as i'd like some puffers but it's all extra work.

Yeah he had some really nice pearl gourami but were just in so have reserved a pair if he's still got some neon's i might have to have another 20!
-
Shall we try for another date then when are people thinking they will be free?
-
I went for a look round today as didn't have much on didn't go with the intention of getting anything but as once place were over stocked with neon's and were selling ten for a fiver thought it rude not to have 20. Fella at the fish place was sound ended up giving us 24 as he couldn't be arsed to count them all lol

Looks like a turbo feed or return to me. What turbo is it from if thats what it is?
-
Thats not strictly true i had to grind the alternator down as the taper on your pulley is not the same as the stock one allowing it to sit onto the shaft of the alternator further. I know there are different alternators availble for the starlets but i'm not sure if the pulleys differ in any way. One thing that i'm not sure is made that clear is there are also two types of water pump one with a pressed on pulley and one with a bolt on pulley your pulley is a bolt on one so if you have a pressed on one you need to buy a new pump. I was happy with mine as i brought a marked set at a sale price

I have the crank, power steering and alternator fitted with a stock water pump one. The alternator needed the face of the alternator grinding down a bit to get the pulley to clear. Power steering fitted ok. Crank fitted ok once i got the old one off with the puller. When fitting the belts i was tight getting the alternator one on but it did fit and tension up ok, power steering fitted fine. Just to note i have not had the engine running yet as i'm doing some other work..

I know that short shifters can be a bugger to identify so thought these pics might help people as i've brought that were sold as trd ones and nether were. Here we have the 2 JDM brands and a stock shifter: Above is a trd shifter And below is a C's shifter Other one is stock

I'm not totally sure but i have a powersteering rack, lines, pump and resvoir from the glanza i broke for parts not sure if you would need anything else

How close to the arch do you want to be? Are you going to be rolling the arches? The 10mm spacer will take 10mm away from a +tive offset but depending on the design of the wheel you might not need the spacer. Have a play on: www.willtheyfit.com That should give you some idea.

Hell have more than one list for the starlets they have a 6 line kit which has the other hoses you need when i got mine i had this problem i wasn't very happy with the fit of them either tbh.
-

-
Depending on where you were thinking might stretch the glanza's legs for this been busy with it over the last few weeks so would be nice to get it out for a drive.
-
That looks real nice mate was your old one black?

The tial site is saying take a feed before the throttle body when you read it and look at the picture which would be the same as taking it from the turbo like you are suggesting. The 90 bent pipe on top of the throttle body is just before it have used that in the past.
