Yes that does look sexual! Always liked the TVR's but i don't know what it is about them but they don't appeal to me! Don't get me wrong, they look amazing just personal taste i guess. I like the KTM X bow that Dan said, that would be awsome. Sounds like you would love the Radical but like you say, bone shattering ride and no speed bumps. You need to be 100% certain on something like this and it sounds like there are a few bad points with the radical. You have all the time in the world to find something that is right for you and im sure you will end up with something mental I think my buggy will be a pretty harsh ride, mega stiff suspension and then fibreglass seats with no padding. Not as bad as the Radical but quite close. I love the fact that i will be in something that has the acceleration of a Veyron but has cost me pretty much nothing to build. Plus it has no roof, doors, windscreen, sides. Basically a engine, 2 seats and a roll cage. Its going to be a experience driving it thats for sure. Not like its going to be my every day car so might as well go crazy Jason

You know what i think Mark! Be different, Radical for me! How insane would that be driving that on the road. I get a bit of stick from the other buggy owners as some think i am doing the wrong thing by complicating a simple mini engined buggy and putting in a 200+bhp Starbo engine and chopping the chassis about. One of them even said to me 'If it was me i wouldn't have bothered, i would have just bought a nice caterham and been done with it.' Whats the point of being the same as everyone else!!!!! Thats the whole reason i have built the Demon the way it is, the fact i will have something that NOBODY else has. and i know that its going to get more looks and attention than a ferrari etc. Plus it will eat supercars all day long, for a fraction of the cost! ROAD LEGAL RADICAL........................

Won't be at Japfest unfortunately, just don't have the time! Sounds crazy i know but im trying to spend every waking hour on this and getting it built! Plus i need to save money for this and a house! Plus if i go to Japfest i will end up buying more things Im trying to get this built before we start looking at houses as when i get a house the funds will be uber low for a good while and fear that the Demon will not get done and i won't have the money to finish it. Laughed my ass off at this, the reflection in the glass makes it look like the sticker is being sick

Thanks for the kind comments people I must admit the pictures don't do this thing justice, looks so much better in real life. I can't stop taking it out the box to keep looking at it! Its going to look amazing on the buggy as it faces the rear and its the first part you see on the engine, and with all the custom polished intercooler pipework next to it ;) Jason

*** Hell Yes *** Been a good week, and its not over yet!!!!! Finally got back to work on Monday and its great being back and i get so much more done on the buggy its unreal. Just the fact of having all the correct tools and all in the same place is just fantastic! And im working less on the buggy than i did when i was off. I do 30 minutes before work, 45 minutes on my lunch and then a few minutes after work. Feel pretty tired going from doing nothing for 3 months to full on again but i love my job and being busy! Anyway, i started off the week with getting the hubs taken apart. My god that was a hard job! The ones i picked up off my mate have been left outside so where just mullered. One of the calipers was seized one and had almost welded itself to the disc. Took me hours to get it off, but i did. Here is one of the hubs broken down and you can see how bad the rust is! All these bits where put into a Vinegar bath overnight and they have come up pretty well, the hub has gone in for another 24h but will be cleaned up tomorrow. Got the NEW disc mounted up and will be painting parts of it black shortly. Then before the hubs get painted they are going off to be machined to accept the new hydro-callipers. May have found a place locally to do this but not sure yet??? Then today this bundle of sexualness arrived at work! Been waiting ages for this but im so happy, the welding is just fantastic!!!! Needs a little cleaning up and its getting all polished up anyway. Race Tech manifold with 65mm throttle body, fuel rail and fittings, Fuel lab FPR and Earls fittings, braided line and 2x cat converter flanges for the exhaust systems im making up. Ricky has put a lot of work into this and it really shows. Im over the moon, the Demon will look great with this on it Few more closeup pics of the Inlet.... Im thinking of filling the Race Tech logo with paint and then polishing the rest? Have already started polishing up the fuel rail and should pretty much be there tomorrow when i get it on the buffer at work. Its in really good condition to begin with so is pretty straight forward to polish it. Tomorrow will continue cracking on with it more! Jason

Thanks for the kind words guys, i try to help out where i can Glad all the bolts, joiners and clips are coming in handy Steve! Dam i can't believe the box has gone as well!!!! Sorry i can't help with the gearbox, but im not giving up my sexy lsd one! You can see how fecked that clutch is as well, your lucky you didn't have the new clutch in there when the oil dumped into the box! Steve, if you need cash for a new box then the money for the clutch can always wait as im not in a rush for it. Make sure you get the car sorted and road worthy first mate! Jason

I get roughly £1500 a month. about £300-350 goes on the Demon, save about £350-400 towards a house (Girlfriend puts in about £200) and rest on bills/petrol/food etc Jason
-
-
Glad they are coming in handy. We had all the bolts donated from Stanner stair lifts. So you can be happy in the knowledge that your car will be granny powered
-
No worries dude, glad i could help! Like i said before the jubalee clips where no use to me and because my intercooler pipework is getting welded together i don't need the joiners either. If you can get a socket onto the jubalee clips to tighten them then do it, you will get them so much tighter than using a flathead screwdriver!!!!! I would be a bit cautious using the hex head bolts on things that need to be uber tight as tightening with a allen key will never be as tight as with a spanner/socket. But for bolts around the engine bay, panels, dash etc they will be fine. I take it that they are a ok size then? The majority we have are the larger ones but i managed to find some smaller ones. Jason
-
Glad you got them all ok Steve and i hope they come in handy. Like i said i don't know what bolts will be of any use as all i have of a starbo is an engine, i have replaced a few little bolts here and there but not done a huge overhall like you. The nice thing about most of the bolts i sent you is they have loc tight on the threads so will go nice and tight. And like you said, most of them are black Hmmmm..... Demon Enterprises, quite like that, although Demon Developments sounds better, and then i can just shorten it to Double D Hope you get the clutch sorted soon Steve. Jason
-
To be honest i think the silicone joiners can go in the bin but they may come in handy??? I hope the jubalee clips are better than the ones you have. Im going for the mikalor ones so don't need those. And the bolts may come in handy but not too sure? I hope they do
-
Dont get your hopes up, its not that great! Although come to think of it there must be £30+ worth of bolts there? Let me know if you need any more dude and which ones you need. and get that clutch done
-
Your so happy that there are 2 threads on this news! Congrats dude, you need to get a baby buggy and start modding it now! JDM Baby buggy for the WIN! Jason
-
Holy Shit thats awsome!!!!! Love it! Your making me want my bits now Still waiting for them, and they won't be as shiney

Is Every Person That Tunes There Car The Same As ....
jason_l replied to silverglanza's topic in Off Topic
Me too, its ok though, its the banks money im spending, not mine Im the same, i really hsould just leave mine as a standard engine as it will be more than enough, but i have for some reason thought it would be a good idea to try and push 200bhp+ .....................what the hell am i thinking!!!!! The first ride is going to either kill me or shock me for life! can't wait -
Looks MINT!!!! Glanza + Mini = WIN!!!!!

What Fuel Pressure Reg Is Everyone Using?
jason_l replied to ollie ryan's topic in Ignition & Fueling
I will be using a Fuel Lab Regulator, and i hear nothing but good things about the Aeromotive ones also. Not sure on price of them though??? Mine is coming with the Race Tech Inlet manifold. Problem is the fuel lab/Aeromotive ones have the fittings for Earls fittings, this will mean more money on fittings and braided line, but will look more sexual. Jason -
Well im making all the bits of the fuel cell and doing all the design, he's just welding the bits together. May come out like crap but i think i have it all figured out??? but we will see. Im trying to use the standard fuel sender setup but it will be modified. Always good to post up when you get parts, i add updates all the time on mine, and its the posative comments that keep me going strong on it ;) Keep up the good work, this will be mint on ITB's
-
Cool no worries, just thought it may help. I am making a fuel cell from scratch so i have quite a few bits getting laser cut shortly. Keep the updates rolling Chanelle
-
Looking good Chanelle. If your making a custom inlet manifold and need some thick alloy cut for the inlet flange part then let me know! There is a pretty good guy that advertises on ebay and can cut the alloy template for the flange. I can easily draw the flange detail up on AutoCAD for you if thats any help? Jason
