Driving from London to southern Spain, anyone done it?
MARC MOSS replied to Vturbo's topic in Lifestyle General
Did from my place in gale in the algarve Portugal last November in an e55 Amg managed to get from Portugal to the south of France in 10 1/2 hrs and then upto the Cherbourg ferry from 7am in the morning and we were there by 2 lol Wouldn't want to do it in anything slow with no aircon mind and go easy when I'm France the police love their hand held cameras and toll roads, Spain's not so hot on the speeding but they will fine you heavily of they are waiting for you, I slowed from 120 for a corner down to 80 and there was a copper sat looking the wrond way just after it lol, as for Portugal lol -
Is a baffeled sump & oil cooler a must have for track use
MARC MOSS replied to tommyep82's topic in Performance & Track Days
This ! It's pretty hard to push a set of r888's or ao48's to the point of needing a baffled sump without being very good on a track as it is, and unless you have an extremely well setup car and the capability to drive it property road tyres no matter how good they are wont get close. I'd just get an oil cooler if you want either of the two so you can stay out on track all day -

Is a baffeled sump & oil cooler a must have for track use
MARC MOSS replied to tommyep82's topic in Performance & Track Days
My mocal gives me 90c on a 16 row but mines a 1800cc I would definately use a baffled sump if using r888 or a048, normal road tyres ad08 etc haven't enough grip to worry about oil surge unless you are a fucking shit hot driver -
I know I've taken the piss in the past with all the hate about rota wheels but we have been in chats with rare rims and we have made a deal so that we can now be a U.K. Distributer. If you have any requirements please inbox me and we will be glad to help.

Oil pressure question, anybody here help at all?
MARC MOSS replied to MARC MOSS's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
The thermostat self bleeds though and it took an extra litre doing it when we filled it so I'm guessing it could be the extra 3 metres of pipe and the cooler that's doing it -

so ita a possibility that all that extra oil going through the cooler is the reason for the slight drop in pressure then i suppose -
Oil pressure question, anybody here help at all?
MARC MOSS replied to MARC MOSS's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
saying all that i just noticed that the pressure was like it earlier in the day in this vid as well https://youtu.be/VskIfhFMxLA Maybe normal? -
Afternoon gents, i have recently been spending a fair amount of time on track days (at least one a month) and have a question regarding my oil pressure, something that hasn't happened before. When cold I get 75 psi on the gauge as normal and after she's warm i get around 30psi on tick over that ramps nicely up to 75psi again when up at 3.5k plus. Monday afternoon on track i noticed that my oil pressure had dropped down to 55psi even with the engine being maxed out. After noticing this it (and i haven't a clue how long it had been that way)was time to call it a day anyway so we packed up and st

correct tyre size, atm 225/40/17 shows lip...
MARC MOSS replied to iamlegend's topic in Alignment & Alloys
1st things to measure the width of the wheel dude If you have to much lip on show u will go wider to sort it but you definitely need to check the width first once you know that it's easy to get the right tyre -
Have you not started the $3000 challenge yet lol it's funny as hell

All i will say is ad08r colin, great in the wet/dry and when you get some heat into them on track they are pretty fucking good as well.

Ns-2r sidewalls suffer on track but they do grip well on the road
