  1. We've done it on a few cars, there suprisingly quiet to be honest. Sound a little "tractor" like but thats normal for starlets anyway. Regards Ricky
  2. None of the above is needed on a 200hp car IMO, you'd have been better of spending the money on a decent diff.
  3. A turbo does over 100,000rpm's. If you see mine at a show with mesh on, trust me it drove like that
  4. I thought that about the Xbox pads, but there actually better than the PS3 when you get used to them. 1 big thing whats putting me off GT5 is the Xbox has a great steering wheel and pedals, force feedback etc is really nice. The Ps3 wheels don't look as good.
  5. You won't make any power up there, we rev the stock springs to 8000 without problems. I wouldn't fancy doing that on the stock rod bolts though. I reckon it'll make 125hp, engines don't really loose power with age. Been realistic if its mapped well it should make 140+hp. Best thing would have been to turbo it.
  6. Awesome little project, i'm sure this has been asked but i've not read all the thread, (sorry). Will it be road legal? Seems a lot of cash to not be. You deffo want some kind of mud gaurds IMO, they would really finish it off.
  7. Power i'd say a safe 400+. I haven't drove it for a while, it wheelspins in all gears on a dry but cold road on road tyres. I stripped it a couple of weeks ago need to make lots of new parts and waiting for the internals and sleeved block to come. Cheers mate. Haha, we do so many "boring" average cars I wanted to do something different, it actually made it easier as well doing the screamers 1 up and 1 down. I'd be disappointed if it only made 550hp when its completed Haha, the flames are cool to watch I totally forgot about those, I'm going to order 1 for my daughter. Co
  8. With our kit, about 3000-3,500 rpm. Depending on other mods.
  9. Thought i'd post a couple of pictures etc up on here as I haven't before. This is more along the lines of what we do in our day to day work, just a little bit more extreme. Heres how it was a couple of months ago. A few more pic's. Not a lot left now.
  10. I thought it was a rwd starlet... Guess i'm very wrong and its some type of kit car?
  11. Its pretty accurate till you get to higher power where wind resistance etc play a bigger part. I did 4.7-60 and 8.6 to 100 with road tyres no diff etc in my civic when it was only about 400bhp. Also did a 12.2 at 120mph. Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 400Weight without Driver (KG) : 800Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 508.030 - 60 (Secs) : 4.130 - 100 (Secs) : 8.7860 - 100 (Secs) : 4.65 Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.33 Terminal Speed (MPH) : 118.48 Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.13 Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 120.68 Jason, isn't 550kg's a bit light?
  12. So you can turn the steering wheel and pedals off and use it RC? PM me if you want to swap it for a manifold or something... My daughter would love that! Dam i'd buy 1 tomorrow if they were still going, are there any other places that do them?
  13. We'r currently building a 700hp MR2, they are good engines as stock and can run LOT's of power, awkward to work on, and not great in wet weather.
  14. I'd say most of your problems were because of the SAFC, get some propper management on it, it would transform the car and make it a lot more reliable.
  15. Just to be sure, you do understand the emange does nothing just by connecting it up. You do have to map it first. Regards Ricky
  16. Emanage blue is fine if you get it mapped correctly. It's not the best of ECU's but does the job 90% of times. in my opinion it's far better than the Jam/blitz etc ECU's as you cannot map them to the individual car.
  17. Depends on which you get, but usually about 0.6-0.7 bar.
  18. The amount of boost you run doesn't determin the power output. The TD04 will be much quicker than the CT9 as it's a bigger turbo, but at the cost of extra lag. You will need a lot more than just a "td04 kit" though, i.e. exhaust, FMIC, ECU.
  19. A very fair comment, but most traders place large or frequent orders with us, with the extra buying power they can then sell on at the same price as I do for a single item as I obviously can discount them accordingly, and this is of cause only 1 area we work in, mapping etc is probably our main line of work to be honest. To Tim, Good luck with TGTT i never even got a response on there haha.
  20. We do these for £45 as a kit, maybe I should add them to my traders section so people actually know. haha.
  21. I found this on a LOT of sites to be honest.
  22. All depends on traction, with those tyres it probably would struggle to get below 12.5 with a gen 400hp. It looked more like 300hp to me anyway. The difference between 15.2 and a 13.4 is a LOT though.
  23. I was going to do a few bits and pieces but nobody seemed to want to spend any money, I think most see it as a waste when they could buy a turbo model in a few months.
  24. Pic's on my phone PM me your number if you like and i'll text it you, bluetooth won't work on laptop I've turned it off now but I reckon theres another half second or so to be had.
