Is this the positive terminal without battery lug on it?
ryan lang replied to dangeestarlet's topic in Electronics
Yeah that's for the alternator -
all depends on the rolling radius of the wheel. best bet is to mark a point on the bottom of the tyre wall with some tape and another paralell mark on the floor, roll the car forward by hand until the tape is back facing the floor, then measure the distance, this gives the circumference but allows for some tyre deformation aswell. what gear the run was in, the gear ratio for that gear and your final drive if you can get me that info ill work it out for you.
-
make sure they all have the same number stamped into the top of them aswell. they differ ever so slightly in size because of manufacturing processes

Horrible noise when reving... (Originates from the box)
ryan lang replied to Zeldoz's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
input shaft/thrust bearing the clutch release bearing can be faulty from new, but my bet is against your old input shaft bearing having to deal with the bite that the paddle clutch now gives you if the sound goes with the clutch pressed in (when the release bearing is at maximum contact with the pressure plate) then i cant see it being that from what i can make from your description thats what you meant? -
when selling second hand parts, i always expect to make a loss on what i paid for it. unless ive bought it for say, trade price from a supplier, with the sole purpose of selling it on for a profit.
