it is a damper? with a shock absorber, which is a spring? thats all it is, so it would work both bays. the spring would absorb the original jerk, and the damper would control the opposite jerk.

coilovers are needed. or an adjustable panhard rod dude because the standard one is solid, it slightly pushes the entire axle off the one side when lowered

best thing to use is an rear supsension coil off a mountain bike, and make up some brackets
