noice! Phil. -
i fucking hate seeing this happen to decent hard working people who have worked hard for what they have. really sorry to see this bud, i hope they turn up undamaged for you ASAP!!!! Phil.

agreed. not alot of folk have heard of it over here though. think they're recording the new season (10??) at the minute. such a clever show, and easily the most vile people you could ever hope to meet lol. Danny De Vito just adds a whole new level of debauchery to it. awesome. Phil.

for security reasons in NI, i would not want my location known to anyone outside of friends and family, esp given what happened to my car a few years back. the mainland is one thing, over here is a different matter althogether. Phil.

Daryl is THE most badass person on TV right now, period. Daryl in season 2 just takes intense hardass to a whole new level! when The Inevitable happens, i will model myself after Daryl! i've even looked up cross bows on ebay for a laugh lol! Phil.

^^^sums it up perfectly. you'll begin to see what i was saying about how the show tried to demonstrate what would happen to us in the event of something like this. first, its run and hide and survive, and kill some walkers / biters. then its "right, long term, we need a plan, a base, somewhere to live in safety" then its "the walkers arent the real problem anymore, we know how to deal with them, the problem now is other people now that there is no law!" pretty realistic (well, given that its totally fictitious of course), i like it. Phil.

dont get me wrong, if i had the money, i'd have alloys, a rear boot lip spoiler, and a top spoiler on it. maybe some nice Ti side skirts too. but to do that i'd need to start breaking the Starlet. and whilst this has crossed my mind as it would pay for a good few house / wedding things, i'm not quite there yet. close, but not quite. Next up will be the drivers side transmission tunnel net for holding CDs as there is NO storage space in 159s. terrible!!!! Phil. -

Hi Tara, I think you have your hands pretty full at the moment, and my car is off the road. I'm happy for you to deal with everyone who is shouting for parts / money first. my thing can wait until the members have been satisfied, I am in no rush, but thanks for looking into it for me. we can arrange the pulley once all this is taken care of sure. Cheers, Phil. -

Hi Tara, No it never materialized. it was only the inner part that James had machined and was sending over to me. he mailed me on the 14th Feb to say it would be leaving that day, but she never arrived. if it was sent and its lost, we'll not get too excited tbh, Im not going to kick up a fuss over it Tara, but if its still there I would like to get my hands on it if possible. failing that, the pulley is currently with Joel at ECC so maybe they can machine it. cheers for getting back to me Tara, much appreciated. Iddy - i did mate yes, when the cambelt/water pump service was done i just got a new EGR valve installed and the inlet system cleaned out. as it was so coked up, it was restricting air flow, and kept causing the limp mode to kick in. i would opt for a DPF delete and remap if i had the money, and if there was anyone over here who had perhaps done it to a 159. Angel tuning are the recommended folk, but they are based across the pond. again, if i had the money, i would probably get this done, but i dont want to throw too much money at the car if its not a daily driving issue...or an OEM optio -

a new EGR isn't really that expensive no, some people try and clean them, euther manually or by running cleaner through them. the DPFs some folk drill through the back of them. but alot of people have them both deleted and the car remapped, it is meant to improve performance and economy. steering rack issue would be a concern yes, not a cheap fix, but again, not all of them have this issue. my dad had the 3.2 V6 Q4 version that had steering groans on full lock, but as he got it 2nd hand from a dealership, they sorted it under warranty. some dealerships or even Alfa specialists will offer s -

@Jordan - to be honest, reliability on them is a mixed bag. I have only had problems with the 1.9 that i had for a few months, there was an exhaust sensor playing up. My 2.4 has only given problems when the inlet system got coked up. but once i got that cleaned, its been grand. my folks have a 2.0 diesel and have had no problems at all. If you read the forums, they do seem to get the same recurring problems, steering racks, EGR / DPF valve, pins in the brembo calipers, etc. but, by this stage, there are fixes in place for most of the common issues. I'll be honest, I love my 2.4 to bits. but sh -
