Everytime that turbo spools up, it still puts a smile on my face. I don't think a whole lot of other cars in this (price) category are more fun to drive (except for handling perhaps). Plus it's just silly cheap to run.

Toyota really needs a sporty car again, I was in a Toyota dealership about 2 weeks ago and was talking to the sales guy about my Glanza and it came to this topic. There were like 20 different models in the showroom and we couldn't find 1 that was remotely sporty.

Lol, don't all P9 Starlets have this problem by now? Kinda annoying and looks/feels/sounds quite cheap, but new doorhandle is quite expensive and if I remember correctly it's quite a pain in the ass to install?

You want a more comfortable car and you're looking at a car with a full exhaust system and coilovers? That doesn't make a lot of sense, only thing I can think of is that the Ibiza will probably have better sound isolation and maybe more options?

Always funny to read this, in the Netherlands it's not even possible to insure it as a Glanza even if you'd really want that. Insurance companies just don't know those cars and they don't really care. You have to make sure the power output is right though, that's the only catch here (with all cars). Power can only be 20% higher then original or you have to get it looked at etc to get the higher power on paper (mine is correct on paper though, 100 kw or something). The prices you pay are the same as a normal starlet 1.3 though, I actually wanted to insure it for more but that wasn't possible.
