They are good despite what some people say, the many that use them always love them and its been a hard decision to put it up or sale, however the td04 bug has bit me, and I like to do things correctly, bought this instead of an fcd for the ct9, and will go piggyback for td04

Think I'm pretty convinced on td04 then, mapped by yourselves Mike, hawwy I think ill be going for the package TD offer.

It's not a bad price mate, I paid roughly the same for it without the actuator including fees, and often when you buy one the seller just says 'no proof but always ran fine' whereas I've actually taken it to a knowledgeable guy who has assured Me its working fine on this setup, I'd assume it could easily fuel a td04 but I want to try the mapped route tbh. If anybody is seriously interested we could have a chat about the price and mate sort something with PayPal fees, it's mint condition with all seals in tact and I'm not in an urgent rush to sell it, as then id have to put the standard one back at 0.7 bar, with a lot less pull than this :/

I've heard too many story's of engines blowing with plug & play on td04, apparently even with decent afr's, so you'd have no way of knowing? Cheers weyro, pretty excited to try it now lol

How about for like an acceleration run? Mine is quick to set off but as it spools so quick in the dry will spin first and second and wet can spin up third as well which is a pain in the arse? Do you prefer yours overall? Is the power useable?

Selling as although I never intended to, I'm itching to try out TD04 power, fitted this and shortly after letting it bed in I took it to Richard Henry Mortorsport who came out with me on a run with his wideband attached, he said at 1 Bar it fuelled the car spot on, @ 1.2 bar it fuelled slightly rich but safe as he said, I decided I wouldn't risk such boost levels however and run it at 1.2 bar. With this ECU and a ct9 power up kit, among all the usual supporting mods I've managed to be neck and neck with an Astra VXR nurburgring, focus St, etc...all on my private drag strip must i mention. I'm not overly sure or desperate on selling, but if I get the right price it will go, as per the rules. Price: £520 inc. Special Delivery postage. Got a few options here, currently running a JAM ECU and although the car is quick and keeps up with my mates nurburgring I cant help thinking it would be quicker mapped properly as it does run rich with this ECU, but then if I was to get EMB should I got td04 on an adaptor plate from Dean? Mainly worried about which is safest, td04 or CT9, heard people say engines can let go on TD04 @ 1bar, but also heard the engine isnt working as hard on TD04? Also to anyone who has done the same, what am I gonna notice drivaeability wise?

Try a HKS actuator, my boost dropped off when the car was standard, fitted a HKS actuator, the boost came in much quicker and harder, and didn't drop off . Mines for sale if you need one, been lying around since I went external wastegate.

Not gonna lie, I did love the old wheels tbh mate, rest looks to be coming on amazingly though! Let me know how you get on with that turbo on the pnp ecu ;) Also, where did you get the heatwrap could you link me to it mate?

Mine did this at one end ever so slightly when i got the car, i smeared a very fine neat bead of loctite sump/gasket sealant around it after cleaning as a temporary measure, hasn't leaked since lol
