Think there like most plug n plays mate, if it's the one on eBay it's a bargain ;) As for black/Brack, is an l an r in Japanese as I always see Glanzas on jap auctions as granza v's
-
Ah cool I'll see if I can get one And yeah I'll see what I can do with the gasket, I don't need one now but wondered for when I do As for the bracket, yeah that's fine mate, it's just the one that holds the backbox up and bolts to the hangers on the car Cheers
-
Ah yeah that's the same as mine, you remember what size u clamp you got As I'm using an old tinny clamp From the air con lol Your fujitsubo pipes look so shiny compared to Mine as mine is a fair bit older, still in good shape though. I don't suppose you know where to get a gasket ring for that joint in your pic? Or even the bracket the backbox sits on, of not could you get some measurements of your bracket for me by any chance as I need one making up

Should look great -
I hope it's good lol, been keeping low boost for weeks now as it creeps massively haha And haha I will do mate fingers crossed
-
Think yourself lucky it's not internal problems, much more costly to sort haha Yeah my turbo has no shaft play either, does have a cracked wastegate though and serious boost creep issues, so going externally gated ct9 when it arrives ;)
-
That's great news mate, seems like your original turbo is as I suspect mine to be, just starting to go and the new one was worse, let's hope mines just the turbo also then haha

How to: Fix the non-existant main beam dash light with HID's
A L 3 X replied to A L 3 X's topic in Tutorials & Guides
Pain in the arse isn't it, it may need some tweaking as I say mine was fine for quite a while, then a really short quick flash to someone and it popped the fuse so i tried a 15 in case its just tripping it, ill see how this one goes -
Heres a few pics of how it was form different angles: So, out came the Dremel: Before realising that the bolt holes allow some room for adjustment with the bracket, which gave me this: Is that as much room as standard or should there still be more? It was the movement of the bracket which has given the most space as I only took a couple of mm off the brasckets to stop it touching for now. I am however wondering if I should remove the brsacket all together as having the exhaust clamped to a brace is causing this, is this gonna cause early failure of the exhaust or is it ok? Finally,

Will do in ten mate

How to: Fix the non-existant main beam dash light with HID's

Let Me know how it goes, I did notice the other day however I blew the fuse after having the relay fotted a few daysfor the left hand headlamp, replaced it with a 15 over a 10 tho as maybe the lack of bulb is just tripping it, or will I need some kInd of resistor? -
I'd rather not remove the bracket just in case And yeah I thought that I really can't understand this, anyone else suggest anything? There's loads of people with these oil feeds and no problems :/
-
Fingers crossed mate, and ah I see, yeah that's as I thought haha
-
My exhaust front pipe is braced from that mate, as with the standard, and due to fujitsubo exhausts not having a flexi in I assume this helps it not to break. That's a pretty good idea mate but I'm back at work Monday unfortunately As aky said mines braced from the gearbox as its zisco, however the thin bracket bolted to the bottom is what my front pipe clamps around to brace that, and as you say, that's there for a reason. Anyone fancy taking a pic of there bracket to show how it should sit?
-
Ah right, Ill order it off dean anyway if he replies soon as his delivery times are usually spot on, I'd rather pay the extra for that, unless you can collect from that company on a Sunday haha
-
I'm gonna see if I can move the bracket tomorrow but I don't understand why its touching in the first place :/ Gonna order a return pipe off dean as soon as he replys
-
Why not lol obviously the oil return can't move and connect and I doubt the bracket can? N nope, standard mani just race tech oil feed?
-
That's how it's always been as far as I'm aware? Standard bracket? Yeah I'll get one of them hoses but is that deffo the right one?
-
Bit concerned about this bracket touching my oil return rubber pipe given how tempremental they are, what do people suggest or would one of deans silicone pipes be able to withstand this better: cheers
-
Also mate, when you say you primed the turbo and cranked it with oil return and king lead off, what do you class as priming as I always assumed that was priming but I'd like to know for when I fit mine? Cheers
-
That's what I'm hoping for you mate, I only had slight oil in my tmic but nothing in the fmic or so it seems And again just dry black soot in the exhaust, but I've been told unless its pissing oil Out the seals the exhaust side won't get oily as it just burns off Also if your compression was that low I'm pretty sure you'd have running issues I'm not 100% but it's better than stripping the engine down just yet mate
-
I think maybe youve got a duff tester especially to have the exact same across each cylinder and still running perfect, is the smoke blue or thick white? If your getting no oil out the breathers or take the oil cap/ dipstick out when running and see there, shouldn't get much more than a few spatters out the oil cap and nothing from dip stick, you using any oil? If all signs seem good swap back to your other turbo and see what happens mate, something sounds a bit strange. I had mine comp tested on a cold engine with king lead on and a shit tester, mine was low but due to the test not being
-
Let us know how you get on
-
So do I after spending on a full ct9 kit lol :/ I hope yours turns out to be something simple mate, it's so shit when you gotta strip it all apart, like I say tho whip the plugs out and check them for oil, and look down the plug holes as well, may give an indication if it is the seals :/
