  1. Got any pics of your work mate? Shame your quite a bit away from me, always hard to find a good sprayer
  2. Can anyone post a pic of these front and back for ep91 please? Looking on camskill it looks as though they are a one piece thing whereas my back ones didn't look like that? Also, where can i get a set from as Toyota/Camskill are over £30 per bumpstop
  3. I'm sure it's off the car lol, the cars a fresh import so wouldn't look too aged either is imagine? Any idea where it's from?
  4. Ah I see, I did want to keep the spacers as my stupidly designed centre caps don't fit without, I'm trying to mod them to still fit though. I assumed 15x 6.5 et 35 would be okay, but with two very light people in the back or scrubbed a slight amount. I assumed stock shocks on lowered springs, especially nackered stock shocks would cause too much bounce? I've got newish spax springs on, if that helps diagnose the problem?
  5. Right, I currently have a set of Rota grids in 40 offset, 35 offset as fitted with my spacers. I also have a Cusco adjustable panhard rod which is set ever so slightly to the nearside to cater for the axle moving when hitting bumps. I'm also lowered 40mm. My problem is when I have people in the back it still catches the arches, just... I take it my panhard doesnt need adjustment as its both, do I need some stiffer shocks or what?
  6. Anybody know where this goes? It came from around the actuator area of the engine, maybe from the alternator wiring? />http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u210/_A_L_3_X_/Mobile%20Uploads/?action=view&current=06012012.jpg&evt=user_media_share
  7. What shocks are pictured with the springs and how old/mileage? Cheers
  8. Anyone got a pair of these? Or will anywhere sell them? Cheers
  9. Pooh ooh could u get me a pic of the cusco panhard rod, what's best price posted need one quite quickly? Cheers
  10. He's price delivered on the hks gauge mate? And do u have an adjustable panhard Cheers by the way, a thumbs up for Tee, went out of his way to get me some bolts and clips and only charged me postage.
  11. I assumed it was for a dual sidelights like the ep82? Anyway have started to make it into a dual filament bulb holder, one wire to sidelights and one which will be connected into a rear fog switch. Liam i'll let you know how it goes and get you some pics if it works, just need time off work lol.
  12. What width are your rotas mate and where did you get the reducer for the hks filter, i need one asap? Cheers
  13. Not an adjustable one mate, no. I think this maybe what I need as it seems that it was only the o/s rear one that caught. How do you mean alignment? As in what a panhard will solve? How do you know its 6.5 mate? Thats what gut instinct said but I dont think the tyres are at fault. I have taken the spacers off for now on the back, had to mod the centre caps a little to get them to fit, against the hub nut cap which is strange.
  14. Need a bit of info, have just bought some rota grids, they are either 15x6.5(65 is stamped on the inside wheel) or 7J as thats what I was told, I assume its 6.5J though, they are wrapped in 195/50 15's and have an offset of 40, but I have fitted 5mm spacers bringing them to 35 offset. I though allwas fine but it seems i got an ever so slight rub of the rear o/s arch tonight, so it looks like I will have to remove the spacers, unless there is anything else as I thought glanzas were 35-42 offset? The car is lowered 40mm on spax springs. Thanks
  15. Did a search but couldn't find anything, my 98 spec Glanza is fitted with reflet tails, there is a lighting area at the bottom of these which has a single filament bulb in but appears to be unused, what is this for? I thought maybe it might be the dual tailights? I was tempted to add a dual filament bulb holder to it, wire one filament to the tail lights and the other as rear fogs?
  16. Ah right, wondered why the didnt just put an unturboed fte in the uk starlet lol.
  17. How about running a 4-efte as non turbo, say if u swapped the exh mani to a n/a one and the intake piping to miss out the i/c? Always wondered that for like say if u sent away turbo to be rebuilt?
  18. I will do man cheers Its working atm but when it stops again i'll check it out.
  19. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Cheers
  20. Thats what i mean mate, if there was no noise then actuator would be most likely the problem, but its strange this noise is there, i mean i've never driven another starlet so can't compare, it might just be because im right at the redline I dunno, it may not be a whistle just like the engine or turbo screaming but its deffo like a high pitch noise, its not immensely loud but is noticable with the radio off and over the road/engine noise? A mate said that the standard actuators are known for dropping the boost in high revs, so this certainly points to that as it isn't dropping much boost at al
  21. Been having a little think about this, its really quite a slow drop in boost, it kicks to 0.7 quite quickly and then slowly drops to 0.6 and not much lower by the time its hit the redline, and the high pitched noise only occurs close to the redline, so whether im overexagerrating this I dont know? I've read somewhere that the standard boost on a glanza is 0.65, i've removed the boost restriction so dunno if this means it will be 0.7 or should be unaffected? I was thinking maybe its rising to 0.7 via boost creep, and then dropping back to 0.65, and then maybe my actuator is weak causing it to
  22. Nah mate it seems to work on the position of the belt itself not whether itsplugged in or not:/ Weirdly when i took my matewith me to the motor factors today it was working correctly with him sat in it lmao?
  23. Ah I see, maybe something normal then, i'll try that out :y: Cheers
  24. Today I refitted the dump valve and replaced the vacuum lines going to it, and the only perished looking one behind the inlet mani. I also loosened and then tightened the 4 hose clips holding the top mount to the turbo side and inlet mani, and I tightened them really quite a lot this time, but the issue is still there, I really can't see what the problem could be if it is a boost leak?
