Well I assume this could be classed as in idle? But was after a bit If a drive and tapping the pedal? Doesn't...well, hasn't ever done it on idle before and hasn't done it since tonight? -

As in just happening once? Or always doing it? Like I say this is the first time it's done it and seems to have stopped now? That's the thing though, it's only done it this once and then stopped? And seemed to be because of tapping the throttle, but now when tapping the throttle it don't do it, really strange lol, I hope it's nothing, but would prefer it to be turbo oil seals than the rings or valve seals or whatever -
Got a weird one here, now since buying the car in October I've had no problems of this sort since, no smoke from the car when warm, cold or when driving and next to no oil usage, if any. I've been working away without the car for a week so wanted to take it for a little(spirited) blast, obviously I let it warm up and everything as usual, and had been out driving about an hour or two, but then parked up and jumped out to have a cig but left the engine running...when I got back in I gave the throttle a couple of taps to about 2-3k revs and then let off and some blue smoke came from the exhaust(

Best lowering spring drop on standard shocks ?
A L 3 X replied to Solida EP's topic in Chassis & Suspension
40mm or less on standar shocks if that, even at that your shocks will wear out faster. -
Will do mate pm your number and I'll mms you of that's okay? May be a while getting to a pc? N 40mm as far as I know mate

Yeah all four mate, theyve got a bit of overspray from when my car was under sealed but should be easily removable, and a few bits of surface rust on the tops and bottoms of coils, but like I say they've done a max of 7k miles as the car was imported on 99k km, the lad fitted em sometime before selling to me and I got the car on 104k, and replaced em with coilovers at 106k, so barely any miles at all I'll take some pics if you like? I'm after 50 quid plus postage for them mate, but I'm working all next week so need to get them separated from the old shocks so may be next weekend or so, let me

I've just started the car from cold, the heater was set to max heat, I put the blower to auto and it seemed full mid speed, I put the temp to cold, the motor went to low for a second then to max it sounded like, so there is some alteration when it's on auto is this right?
-
I won't be using the car in this weather but I'll get in it and have a mess about, any ideas where the temp sensor is located?
-
Snowing like mad here on yorks :/
-
Mine doesn't seem to do this, granted ive only tried it on the hottest temp(is that why) but all it seems to do is maintain the fan speed at mid :/
-
Right, I've got a camber gauge and would like to know if theres an accurate method to calibrate 0? I've put it up to walls in my house etc but they all differ lol :/ Cheers

My 98 Glanza has the climate control heater controls, now whenever I put the fan speed to auto it always seems to be at mid speed, surely that isn't auto? Any idea what's wrong?

Just a bit of feedback for Jerrick and the product as a whole! Firstly, the coilovers themselves, upon opening up they were well packaged, and looked of very high quality and couldn't wait to get them fitted, I decided to spend my day off fitting them along with some other bits, it was only then I realised how knackeredy old shocks were, I emailed Jerrick a couple of times during fitting and he was extremely quick to respond. The only problem I encountered when fitting was the bracket for the brake line needed some slight persuasion to sit correctly, but this is me being picky as iiirc the ma

Flaminsam, yeah my mechanic said its touching the stops correctly to Adjust itself? And he said not to adjust via the cabin like you said as it won't cure the problem? Unless of course my cable is stretched because it is touching the stops it just ain't holding well?
-
I've noticed sometimes my handbrake doesn't hold, especially on steep hills, or takes a fair amount of clicks to get it to hold. I had a mechanic have a quick look and he said from the calipers it looks fine, they come to rest on the stops so are adjusting correctly and they pull on correctly, yet it doesn't hold for me, I asked if I should tighten it at the lever and all 3 at the garage said no it would make things worse, so what is the problem? Cheers
