I run a trd HG on my forged engine, but run lower compression then most due to dished pistons, yet since being on the omex, I can drive very well off boost. stock compression is very good, if raising it, 99ron or higher and a standalone is most important to help gain best tune and power.. 99ron fuel has a higher threshold before det then 95, that's what the ron means. higher octane rating less change of det.

i run a td05 and its mental.. check my build thred.. its not that laggy as long as you use it to its full potential.. im running 1.5 bar and 1.7 for occasional drags, and its mental, aggessive and not that laggy as people make out.. id forge the bottom end first before worrying about a turbo..

Malcolm, quality costs matey.. meister-r is what I run, and they are designed with uk roads in mind.. tbh your best of saving, unless a decent set come up cheap.
