** Known scammers list ** beware when buying parts
Budnbass replied to dangeestarlet's topic in Lifestyle General
I'm not sticking up for the guy as scammers are lowest of the low but I brought a set of shocks and springs of him not long ago, and I couldn't fault anything. Constant contact, exactly as described and quick delivery. -

I'm going to be sorting out the exhaust This weekend making the back box fit a bit better. I was considering cutting out the silencer in the centre section, has anybody done This and if so what were the results? I don't wanna loose back pressure making it slower just for a bit of noise... Cheers

N/A throttle cable on a FTE inlet manifold.
Budnbass replied to Budnbass's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Yeah that's not a bad idea, I take it you still get the slack with the glanza bracket aswell? -
Tbh mate, I'd have the tail gate, OSF door, both wings and both bumpers but I have to keep telling myself I brought a £300 starlet and it's not worth the time or money replacing body parts for inperfections...

I've fitted an FTE inlet manifold to my N/A and it's all working fine but the throttle cable mount is held on by on bolt and the cables adjusted all the way along, it works fine I was just wondering how anybody else has done it?

Speed lines look a lot better imo, will be interested to see what the mr2 throttle body does. -
Finally got round to fitting a few things this weekend! Had a Glanza inlet manifold sitting on my bench for a month now so got that fitted today, and whilst i was there i had a half arsed attempt at polishing my rocker cover, looks 10x better but still not perfect. The Inlet manifold seems to have made it alot more responsive and also made the exhaust note a bit louder/deeper To anyone who's fitted on of these to a N/A what did you do with the throttle cable, as ive only got the bracket held on by one bolt and had to adjust it all the way to the end. It works fine but would be i

Yeah I was using a corse abrasive pad on the dye grinder and a wire wheel on my drill, was just taking a while, I think I'm going to try the wire wheel on our bench grinder tomorrow that'll clean it up quicker I think.

Ok kool I'll have to raid my mates tool box tomorrow to try his dremel, cheers for that!

Started cleaning up my rocker cover with a dye grinder and abrasive pad the other day but it's not getting in all the grooves anybody got and good tips for getting the corrosion off and getting it back to polished metal?
