Get the head off don't run the risk, pressuring was ok on old wanky Kent ford engines but you might as well get in off, new belt gaskets and get head acid dipped maybe ported. Correct fitting is easy then, reseat the valves too. Jobs a winner

Walbro use a different wiring plug dude the wiring should have been changed. Also walbro are silver and not the mucky gold colour of stock. Walbros are nosiey buggers to. Tolerances and measurements are the musts. Thing I've found aswell.... No half measures. If your forging, do it all right first time. Get the most out of doing it, because u wont wanna take it to bits again lol head porting and Uprated valve springs for example,
