What was wrong with the Yellows if you don't mind me asking? I hate Greens for various reasons, Reds seem better than Greens when hot and cold - more predictable as the temperature rises where Greens seem to "spike" then fall off again.

You honestly don't need heaps of power...in fact you will learn more about making the most of your cornering speeds and momentum if you are slower down the straights. The Skyline lads were often in the 600bhp range, we were 220bhp and it was fine.

Very nice!!! My little brother's got a Rallie shell based track weapon he's building up (stripped), with the best suspension bits from a GTi, and a Saxo Vti(?) 1.6 16v - should be a screamer, might even get bike carbs and megasquirt! We might put those sleeper "steel look" alloys on it, mat black or course. Solid mount rear beam, modified front x-member, some really expensive WMS mounting bits ended up being turned into spacers for that (little G##). Drop me a line if any WMS bits would be handy! ;)

I'm recovering from a trackday at Brands on friday, great fun - was just a passenger though. We did 70-odd laps (first trackday there). Got plenty of proper rubber migration going! Car was a roadgoing E30 Touring with my brother as driver, with a heavy 220bhp 3.5 conversion, coilovers, LPG tank fitted and 1400kg as weighed before the back seat (50kg max?) was taken out, rest of interior in place. 1350kg plus passenger, 220bhp, drying track, times on one stint were: 1:10.8 1:06.0 1:03.5 < ! :-) 1:05.5 1:05.2 1:05.7 1:05.3 1:05.4 1:05.5 Even saw off a Skyline, this is post-overtake, not "holding them up"... We are in this video (6:20 > 7:05), the car you are in was a race prepped '7 powered by a Cossie YB Turbo. When we left there was a lot of clattering noise and juddering from the clutch, so we limped home. Took the box off yesterday to find all the flywheel bolts had undone! EEEEEK!!!! "Lucky" to say the least, the shuddering was the bolt heads hitting the clutch plate springs etc, and the flywheel now has "float".....but can't be removed due to a built-up lip on the crank! (new bolts, better Loctite plus lockwire time!) More pics: Hot... Hotter!!!!! Really must get a WMS kit on his car at some point.... That overtake in progress!

I used them a few hundred times (contract) and there were often problems (plus they are expensive), they also used to fail to pick up all the time, and things would get damaged. Interlink (contract) were better but became too expensive as well, we also had a contract with City Link and some other ones.... ....interparcel win hands down!

I agree! Parcel Farce are a disaster a lot of the time..... With interparcel I found I can send folded up / boxed Recaro seats, with £50 insurance, 1-2 day delivery by UPS = £6.50+vat, collected from your door, trackable and signed.

I use interparcel.com, knock spots off anyone else we tried before! Their cheap service is really UPS as well! No account needed, they even take PayPal......

That's great to hear, glad you like them! Bleeding them isn't tricky, just do the two top nipples on each caliper (outer then inner), then "tap" the calipers to shift any bubbles stuck to the inside, then bleed again to get the last bits! After a few days of driving it might be worth doing it again in case there's any air left over, normally it'll be fine though. The pads come with bedding-in instructions in the box normally, one extra thing to check is that all the bedding-in layer is gone before taking it on track.

You can indeed buy the parts on their own, send me a PM if you're interested. However the smallest we can go with these calipers is 262.5mm, this is the point the bottom of the caliper lugs touch the lugs on the Starlet strut. Also the pads used are a common motorsport shape, not from an OEM caliper. We might be able to do a future kit with another caliper to fit the OEM 254x18mm discs if there is enough demand....?

Shouldn't take long, your "beta" brackets are done so the missing bit is that batch of the rarer 275x22 discs - "early Feb" is what I was told by the importer so it won't be long!

I always thought these things "look cool", but I didn't think they could move! I kind of assumed they arrived at shows on trailers or something!!! Best example of this style I've seen is this...but it's mat black and laid back/minimal, and an AW11 so I'm biased.

We offer grooved discs as a service, it adds £48.00+vat/pr - drilled discs can crack when pushed so we don't offer it normally. For £111.17+vat we can upgrade the 277x25 disc to the EBC Turbogroove type as another option. The prices are at the start of the thread, to be sure if the kit will fit behind your wheels print out the PDF templates, there are two options (heavy duty and low profile).
