Splitfire 8.8mm HT Leads and Distributor cap in blue
Arnold replied to Arnold's topic in Starlet Parts For Sale
I can get additional photos tonight mate. They were on the car when I bought it in 2009 which ran fine, but were removed when I broke the car, and have been sitting in my parts storage box ever since. I'm waiting on someone who's PM'd me first to confirm they can buy them, otherwise i'll drop you a message. Cheers Al -

Are you guys on about the small popper type ones with the screw in the middle? Mine were well easy to come off!
-
My CT9 did 190hp, and my TD04 is 217. The cost to get that extra 30hp was loads, but the way it drives is totally different. TD04 seems to be more fuel efficient too as it boosts later up the rpm. Also, you can use a piggyback ECU - emanage blue or something, cheaper than standalone but better than the FCD/RRFPR etc route. Tuning Developments do mapping, and sell TD04 kits but make sure they have improved the manifold design. Mine and others have cracked in half.

Dodgy pump then if your wires check out? -
Not really, I stripped most of it and sold it on. Kept a few little bits for my current V. Some of it was so buggered or covered in blood, it was just binned

I've got Good Year Eagle F1's on mine and they're pretty good but not amazing in wet conditions. Had a few slidey moments. Excellent in the dry though.

I paid loads to get my Id workz one fitted as it wasn't a simple bolt on, so this is a bargain. good luck with sale

I don't like it!

This No point driving around on excessively worn pads. Anyone just topping up fluid is asking for trouble

It has been very wet recently, a lot of cars are suffering with moisture issues. A couple of large silicia gel bags on your dashboard and parcel shelf should remove some of the moisture.
-
No complaints with mine, I've got the Fidanza one. A worthwhile mod if you've got a larger turbo as it helps get to higher revs faster to spool the turbo
