When we bought it: Stickers, spats, canards and dirt all removed Running an eBay TD04 kit, the inevitable happened a couple of days after buying the car so we have a new WEPR manifold on order, I'll update this when it arrives etc A 98 spec OEM front lip is also on the list, and maybe HRF style rear spats. I'll add a full spec list and more pictures soon.

Hi guys I thought I'd share another Starlet with you all. It's a Black 98 SR that has suffered head gasket failure. I bought it in May 2011 looking like this: However I ended up selling it to another member as he was really looking for a project. A year later he asked if I wanted to buy it back, and I thought why not? It looked a bit different this time. It had a full Glanza kit fitted with a white bonnet, but no Glanza headlights. So the front end went back to the original look, and the original tailgate was refitted. The only Glanza bits left are the rear bumper and sideskirts. Andy (who I bought it back off) decided to rip out all the interior too, so I have a Glanza interior waiting to be fitted. Plans: Fit a new engine (managed to source one with 33k miles) TTE style front splitter Lowering springs (only has the original TTE rear springs) Clear indicator lenses Glanza NS rear light (no reverse light) Full Glanza interior A decent set of wheels (currently on steels) I'll keep this thread updated with pictures.

Nice work so far Rich. A tidy set of wheels would set it off nicely.

You are most welcome Phil, as mentioned in PM I really want those wheels if you ever sell them! Don't sell them though because your car looks perfect with them!

If it has a join in the middle then it must have been shortened or extended.

If I was to have it repaired I'd have it done by a bodyshop. Saying that though, I personally wouldn't bother due to the amount it'd cost and the fact that it will most likely appear again as you'll always be opening/closing the boot. Who did you buy the spoiler off? PM me if you like.

That's just a hole that someone's drilled out. The original has a M6/8 thread fitted there.

Sounds legit. All genuine ones had 1 thread in each top corner, just like the original Glanza spoiler. If yours didn't then it was most probably of our products.

A genuine one will have the threads to attach on the tailgate just like the original

99% chance they are made from cheap material (just like most of their parts) and won't last long. ;) On the other hand, we sell aluminium nuts that are made in Japan at an affordable price. ;)

We supply the rear splitters brand new, could have one made in a black gel coat if you prefer (would still need painting though).

As long as you keep the oil topped up, it shouldn't cause much further damage.

Looks like the inner CVs are missing so they aren't complete shafts? Or are they included?

My mate was the same as you. He ended up with a 2002 BMW 320D in a purple/mauve colour with a few optional extras which I found for him at a bargain price he loves it and it's awesome on fuel. Tyres are cheap for that too (compared to mine and Lew's)
