Awesome combination and it will only get better when you get these wings fitted ;) We need more pics though! -
I think they must have realised that the garage was in wrong for not checking them sooner. Before this, they did threaten to legal action as one of their family members is a solicitor, I said that I was more than happy to let them go ahead with this because there was no way that anything would come out of it. Sorted now though

Right there's three people in like for these! I'll close this now as it's resolved. Thanks for all the advice guys! ;)

I've already had a PM for them! You can be next in line TrisK. I can post items to you at a decent price.
-
Asad I'll be paying them once they arrive with me Bargain track coilys anyone? ;)
-
They won't accept that. It would be better for them to do that, as they won't be out of pocket, but they have chosen to lose £150 and send them back to me instead.
-
They definitely don't want to use them so I'm going to happily buy them back at £200, I'd be silly to say no - it's a bargain imo, and perfect for someone who is building a budget track toy!!

I have now received pictures and it looks like it's just the keys that are bent! It looks like a very small issue to me. I can't remember whether the D2s keys are removable, but either way it looks like an easy fix. The last picture isn't a bent top mount, it's a pillow ball type so they rotate side to side like that.

I just put myself in the buyers shoes to understand both sides.. if the coilovers went to their house then it would be their fault for not checking them, but there's three parties involved including the garage that they were sent to. Awaiting pictures now. I'd personally go with Race-tech over others: http://www.race-tech.net/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2_42&zenid=bd8d8f9f39f191731b9d724a2693f298

It's a very tough one for me.. They have now decided they don't want to purchase new coilovers but will accept £200 as a refund, so I may just do that to keep them happy.
-
Well I offered them the full £350 discount if they get the old coilovers sent back to me and they may have agreed.
-
I am having a look through my Photobucket now, they called dibs before I even started stripping the car so I can't remember if I took pictures of them, but I may have done.
-
I have told them I would have given a straight refund if they told me straight away, but they didn't even know about it themselves up until now.
-
The coilovers went straight to the garage, and they said the garage didn't inform them up until today. I can understand how annoying that must be for them, hence the £300 discount! So the person who signed for them is the one who should have checked them imo, in this case that's the garage.
-
Indeed, there's a higher chance of that too as they went back and forth so much!
-
I spoke to the garage who is fitting them as well, they said that they're bent (which is the main problem) and on top of that they won't adjust. They were sold as second hand though so I'm not sure whether I'm liable for that, I just checked for any leaks etc and they were fine.

Hi guys, I sold a set of D2 coilovers on 6th December, they were used and it was a personal sale. I sent them a couple of weeks later, I drove the car I removed them from for around 150 miles and they worked fine. When I removed them, I checked for any signs of oil etc but they were dry - dirty, but dry. The courier couldn't find the recipients address, so after a week or so they ended up back at mine. I then sent them again (£10 from my own pocket) and they finally got there. Today, the buyer requests a refund. I asked what was wrong with them and apparently they are bent, and how it must have occurred in the post. Trouble is, it has been 3 months and there's no way I can make a claim on the package. The sale price was £350, I offered a massive £300 discount off a brand new set of BC coilovers as I now sell them, so they basically get the D2s for £50 and I am sure they would sell for £150+. This was just a gesture of good will but they aren't satisfied with this. What would you do? Send a full refund and be out of pocket? There's no way I can claim back from the courier now. The courier messed me about with a few orders, the last was LeeroyV's engine mounts and that was the final straw before I closed my account with them. Besides they wouldn't even look at a claim for a parcel that was sent so long ago. Any input would be appreciated. Cheers Idrees

Nice update, those Team Dynamics suite your car better than I'd have imagined however the Rays are obviously better because they previously belonged to me
-
Indeed I was going to buy it, but you was being plain greedy when you wouldn't include the £10 delivery in the £500! You lost a massive sale over £10 postage. Of course I am glad, because I found one a lot cheaper, but it was a bad move on your half tbh. Good luck anyway bud.

If your speedo works then the cable is fine. I'll see if I can find out a Glanza ECU pin out diagram, that will show the speed wire on the ECU. These car's don't have a VSS though.

I can't recall seeing any replicas of them. -
If you have never painted before then please don't bother, as it will look a lot worse as a DIY job.

They are Wedsport TC-05, and are quite rare!
