    I fuelled up because I have to, just like usual. £95 for a full tank of diesel Shell and Esso had none left due to people buying in a panic, so had to use Total

    I was very close to trading with the manufacturer of those rods but didn't bother because they didn't seem keen to let me test them on my car.

    It would be useless even if you modified the flange(s), the Yaris manifold has tiny runners.

    Nice work, the engine looks mint. Someone on here is selling a CT9 kit with Race-tech manifold at a bargain price, it would look nice in the engine bay (unless you are going TD04)?

    You get used to driving with no power steering, it's not much trouble. I'm running 16x8" wheels on mine so they are heavier than most popular 15s, my PS hasn't been working for 2 months and it doesn't feel too heavy

    Forged goodies should be with you by the end of the week ;) I'm just as excited as you about this! If you need a 3E flywheel let me know, I can supply them at a good price. I used the 3E flywheel on my 5E too. Have you got a new oil pump sorted? Let me know if you need one of those too

    Did you put the PCV pipe back on properly? Did you remove any earths that you might have forgot to refit? Did you adjust the timing by any chance?
