  1. I'm a trader so I'm on a traders policy now
  2. I've only got a couple of low quality pics of it, added them to the first post. Seems theres a bit of BMW loving going on in here! The rest of you add pics as well please! Pictures speak a thousand words!
  3. Now then, What's the best car you had before you bought your Starlet? or if you've moved on, what's the best you've had after your Starlet? I personally can't decide between my old R32, S3 or my current 530D M-Sport Feel free to add pics. The BM:
  4. I have heard about that issue with the 24mm ARB, I thought it was fixed by pulling the lower arms out (with ALK fitted)?
  5. This is over 3 months old.
  6. I've read that white lithium grease is the best to use for poly bushes, as it won't react or chemically degrade the bush so you prolong the life the bush. I used general grease on mine as I wasn't aware of this at the time, and it doesn't sqeak - my car is fully poly bushed too! I'm not sure that it actually matters though, as I've read that a lot of people have used usual grease and haven't had issues with squeaking or the life of the bush. As for those plates, I've never seen them come with an ARB, the only place around there that has those plates is the Whiteline Anti-lift kit, they're around 5mm thick though.
  7. Coilovers are sold as it says in post #53 mate
  8. Top nipples first, passenger side before drivers side (further from master cylinder first).
  9. Lamborghini Murcielargo, Audi R8, 2011 Audi S3 Sportback, Audi S5.
  10. I haven't drove mine for a few weeks. I'm enjoying boost in forms of a 6 cylinder 530D M-Sport BM though
  11. In all my Starlets I've never even stripped the rear seats out. Not suitable for a daily imo. The demo Glanza isn't my daily but I've still left the complete interior in place.
  12. A day after my birthday! I would come if it wasn't for Uni, have all my exams in May and can't risk messing them up for anything.
  13. Welcome along dude, looks a tidy base.

    pm'ing

I have the same problem Shorty, so I just click on view full site and PM using the full site instead. It would be handy to have it sorted though.
  15. The wheels have absolutely transformed the car, I agree with Amjad - I wasn't so sure about the kit before but now it all looks perfect. Stick on plate ftw, get rid of that massive thing please!
  16. It may be connected wrong, do a Google search for a fitting guide for the boost controller you have then refer to the external waste gate section. Should show you how it's done there.
  17. Holy shit! He bough that bumper off me when I stripped my old rep almost 3 years ago, still looks just the same!
  18. You want yellow mark 1 fogs? Get in touch ;)
  19. Thank you guys, I really appreciate the kind words
  20. I fixed it, I accidentally edited the settings. Yeah every time click it, it shows new members first. I think this can be edited on the left side menu when you click new posts.
  21. Looks a mess if I'm honest Lose the front lip Get rid of the white handles Lose stickers Get some proper headlights Sideskirts colour coded red (professionally) Get rid of the overspray on the lights etc After that work is done it might start looking good ;)
  22. Hi guys, Every time I click on new content, a message saying 'no new content' found appears. I switched to view results from the last week instead of my last visit, but no luck. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Regards Idrees
  23. I ran out in my mates BMW once. I was going to take the car to a garage to have some work done, the range said 0 miles but he lives 2 minutes from a fuel station. Wasn't too bad though as I just used one of his other cars to fill a canister. Worst for me was filling my GT to the brim with diesel. When studying in Birmingham I'd come home every weekend due to business needs, and I'd head back very late Sunday mohy and arrive there for 2-3am. I would usually fill the tank up when I got there so that I didn't have to waste time filling it up on Friday before heading home. So I went to shell, I was quite worn out and started filling up. I went in and paid, and drove off. I got no further than 10 metres before the car cut out. I knew what I'd done straight away! Both my phone batteries were dead, so I was pretty much screwed! I found a taxi driver sleeping in his car, woke him up and got a taxi to my accommodation. I got two friends to keep me company and a few small water bottles, got a t's I back to the GT and started the job of removing the diesel for the tank. I'm lucky I had a toolkit with me, I remove the rear seats and fuel pump and scooped out the fuel using a 500ml Volvic bottle. It took about 2-3 hours and most of the diesel ended up in a drain, bad I know but I had nowhere else to put it!
  24. The 150 TDI has a fair bit of poke, plenty of torque too. It didn't compare to the S3 in the handling department though. I'd say the S3 handled better than my old TD04'd GT that had a Quaiffe diff, D2 coilovers, strut braces, ALK, Whiteline ARBs etc
