That's mint, leave the FHE engine in there and use the car. If I hadn't made so many investments recently I'd actually love this as a second daily driver.

I bought an Exedy from them, it severely failed within a few hundred miles and cost me a gearbox rebuild. They wouldn't refund it, but it's worth a try.

That's a Roadrunner decat, the screamer pipe you had is an internal screamer. It's all about external wastegate when it comes to screamer pipes. ;) Great work so far, I look forward to seeing the Rota refurbed white with a polished lip as those SSRs look stunning!

Were the heatbolts brand new? They should be torque'd to 44 in two stages as you mentioned, then a 90 degree turn iirc.

What specs did you torque them up to?

From memory it's 3 stages; 20, 40 and 60ft/lb. Definitely double check though, and as mentioned there should be a paper included in the box. Edit - just checked, and yes it is 3 stages to 60ft/lb.

As mentioned above, bolt a FTE clutch and flywheel on to the engine and you're good to go.
