Yes thats right mate. The Starlet wants ET37-40 ideally. ET38 is absolutely spot on mate. You can go nice and low without rubbing too (as long as you have a panhard rod, or the rear wheels will go out of alignment and one side will stick out and rub).

Depends on the offset, I had Advan RGs 15x7" - they caught the arches but only because of the ET32 offset. I also had some Rota GT3s 16x7" and ET40 offset, they never caught the arches.

@ the handbrake skids. Is it a CT9? Might be a TD04 if it whistles loud! Good luck with her buddy. ;)

I just sold a full 4EFTE with everything attached for £550. Awesome condition engine with only 67k kms on the clocks iirc (will have to check the clocks as I can't remember, but it was low mileage). I've previously sold a good condition engine for £300, without anything attached. And this week I am buying a 5E block for £100 (just the bottom end to forge). If you want a bare 4E block to get the ball rolling, give me a shout. I've got a few here.
