  1. Nice, I've had a quick read though your thread. Your car looks amazing mate. Good work!
  2. Here is mine which Ryan Mentioned.
  3. Hello Amanda, Don't know if you remember me but I done a mini feature of your KP61 a few years back with pictures i stole from your build thread on AE86irl. http://www.272heroes.com/13-11-2011/amandas-midnight-purple-kp-starlet Dan.
  4. I'm Considering entering the Club N/A series with the RX8 but It's just too damn expensive, it's over 1.5k for a season. plus the car, wear and tear, getting there, race liecence ect. It's not cheap
  5. I've seen this in the flesh at trax a few years ago. I thought it was a genuine one in till I done a reg check on it but still. 35k is a lot of money.
  6. Thanks for the Kind words lads. I want the mesh to save the radiator. I'd rather not have it too.
  7. Not really alot to add. I've pretty much decided on getting some new coilovers, i'm going to save and get some KW V3's but i've changed the spring rates on the rear back to the 6k Ive bought some Race wear, Alpinestar gloves and boots and a sparco race suit. just need a new helmet now I've installed a drift button for my handbrake for mad drifts. the handbrake doesn't lock now but if it's pulled and you push the button forward it locks. Only a few things to get done now, 1. Install mesh for the bumper 2. Fit fire extinguisher 3. tracking 4. have a exhaust silence
  8. I laughed way more than I should of. Looks awesome though. Those extra vents in the bumper make it look so mean.
  9. As above. Not entirely sure if i want to to this (Probably wont) but I would conciser for a clean car. If someone is interested, I'll throw some details up.
  10. I DID he was walking though the starlet stand when i spotted him and we had a quick chat. he seemed busy taking loads of videos so left him to carry on. Top bloke. My life is complete.
  11. Looking at this again. It's pointing up quite a fair bit. It's going to create 'upforce' and the car is going to be light over 50+ and under steer like mad. I would strongly recommend taking it off because it's quite dangerous.
  12. Where do you get those end bits from mate? I've currently got dodgy eye bolts lol.
  13. This tried killing me and my mate on the way back from the spring performance action day. A car pulled out in front of me so i slammed the brakes on and the pedal hit the floor. Pretty sure my heart stopped for a moment then but luckily the car in front go on with it and i don't go into the back of it. It was a fun drive home with no brakes. It's all fixed now though. It turns out when i fitted the coilovers almost three years ago i bent the brake hose brakes, some how and its been slowly wearing away it them. So, new hoses at the front and my mother kindly ordered me some new pads from Id
  14. Thanks for the Kind words lads. Finally got my risers for my spoiler. Me and Sam went a bit mad with some paint It looks much better than corroded chrome. We also Painted the Callipers and the inside of the front discs. I Also fitted my Agency power lightened pulley. the car feels a bit nippier and quite rev's even better. i'll get some now pulleys to match later on. I've bought some scrubbed Michelin slicks from a Porsche GT car i need some wheels for them though. The only thing from stopping me from taking this on a track day ATM is the fact t
  15. I'm there tomorrow In my S so i'll keep an eye out too.
  16. Looks good bud. Splitter looks perfect. Lots of Racing teams use MDF for splitters as it cheap and easy to use. How are you mounting it? ideally it needs to be something more supportive than the bumper. It sticks out quite far so it will generate alot of Down force. With it mounted it should be able to support your weight (around 70ks) With my splitter i've mounted past the wheel and attached it to the sub frame and have supports to the crash bar (RX8) as i have no FMIC. Not hating, Just giving advice from my experience and research.
  17. I've made some for my RX8 from Carbon though work. I'm going to be fitting them over the weekend so i'll post some photos up.
  18. Take your car to Christchurch Tyre company. Been there a few times, they know their stuff.
  19. Half these photo's make me want to sell the rx8 and get a track starlet lol
  20. With my RX8, I noticed if i ran it on anything other than V-power it idles really ruff. Since it's not a Road car any more i use V-power and octance booster. I've yet to use race fuel
  21. LOL Every damn time. I'll be there. In there in the S not bothering with the 8
  22. Thanks Liam. I Appreciate the kind words. New Disc's and the Hawk pads fitted. Racing Brake Lines fitted also with some fresh Gulf Brake fluid. The brakes feel great. The pedal is really firm and the pads have good initial bite and great torque, Even from cold. I've also fitted a exhaust bung. It makes the car sound like ass and has a noticeable decrease in power but it does make it abit quieter. Hopefully i wont have to use it but i have it just in case. According to my phone app the car makes 99DB (@5krpm) which is close to a few of noise limits on certain tracks. I can see me
  23. Update Sam came over a last weekend and got some photos. Sam also helped me sort the Gauges out which was nice as i hate wiring as said a few posts ago. In other news. The car is booked in to Triton Motorsport to have a few bits done. I've also Ordered an Agency power under drive pulley. Hopfully that should be the end to the engine mods for now.
