  1. Good result mate. That exhaust looks nice. shiny!
  2. Sounds good mate. I'll have to take you for a little spin. Cheers for the kind words lads. The Engine is done, I went and saw Chris at RE:Worx today. It's nice to here it fire up again and its very noisy and sounds AWESOME. sadly, no videos or pictures. BHR coils, Clutch, flywheel, full exhaust, intake are fitted. Can't wait to hear it on full chat. It's beening sent to Nickson Motorsport in the morning for the cage to start next week. On another note, I've Ordered my APR GTC-200 wing with 2.5" risers. which looks like this.
  3. Thanks Guys, I really don't know what the wheels are, I just know that they're OZ That would be awesome, I'm interested, but all depends on price.
  4. The 8 has been sent to RE:worx for a engine rebuild and a shed load of after market parts to be installed. Still waiting to her what the internals looks like. Hopefully it's all good news. Straight after this, she's being sent to Nickson Motorsport on the 23rd for a custom cage, pretty much the same spec as the Hayward rx8 cage. The only difference is mine is having a Rear x rather than a single diagonal. CAN'T FREAKING WAIT :D
  5. Still no real updates but i have washed her for the first time in months, I forgot how well she scrubs up. I really want some reflet lights for her, Quite annoyed i missed the ones which Socks was selling. oh well. I still haven't installed the Amber lights as on has a bit snapped off. So if anyone has a passenger amber lens which they don't need I'll be happy to take it.
  6. Year it's an Ani version. either 25 or 30 years.
  7. I'm pretty sure sky are looking into doing this. They said something about it on the RX8 Forum. Again, back the the RX8 forum. most people insure there car with http://www.reis.co.uk/ they insure there car for the year like a normal policy and add x amount of trackdays. It doesn't seem to be that expancive but most RX8 owners are in there mid 30's
  8. Just about to say the same thing. maybe even wider. Not sure on how the arches will look on this. they would work on a more boxier car like the EP70 or even the 82. I'm looking forward to the outcome.
  9. The more pistons there are doesn't mean better braking. I would stick to the willwood's personally. . Other than that. the car is looking good buddy.
  10. Cheers for the kind words guys. I've ordered some Gulf Competition RF1000 Racing brake fluid... which wasn't cheap lol. and Redline MT90 GL4 Gearbox fluid, Redline Water wetter, Greddy, Magnetic Sump plug, Racing Beat Air pump blacking plate and lastly some Silver Caliper paint The build is about to get kicked up a notch with some good progress and update over the next month.
  11. Cheers Lads, she'll look even meaner with a Carbon GT wing. I'll be ordering that soon. I have found some footage of me spinning ot castle combe from japfest. Skip to 3.10
  12. I've trimmed it all up, it fits lovely. I have also drilled and tapped more holes in the subframe for more support. Just need to make the real one now.
  13. That's a lovely Red V mate, it;s nice to see one which is for sale at a realistic price. I've been getting itchy feet with my Red S and with would be the perfect upgrade but unfortunately I don't have the cash spare. Best of luck with the sale mate, hope it stays on the forum.
  14. Welcome, Good to see another local on the forum.
  15. Thanks Lads. This makes me laugh, I get more reaction from this build on a starlet forum than i do on a rx8 forum. Just a bit more trimming and she's sweet. I'm going to use these for the support rods. 16. On the Glanza S the skirts and spoiler are an optional extra. Mines has them Good to see another S on the forum.
  17. Started the template today for the splitter. That's the rough one but you get the idea. I didn't do it very accurate and don it all by eye as you can tell because it's not square at all lol. Flipped it over and done the proper template. It would have been a bit easier it my bumper wasn't cable tied back together as it's a bit all over the place. If you can't read the writing it's 3.5 inches wider on the sides and 4.5 on the front. Hopefully I'll get round to cutting it out tomorrow. I was planning on using Composite from my work, but after seeing this i might chance my
  18. i think i saw you today, the round about on Dorset way (the one next to the ford garage) at about 10 to 5.
