UPDATE!! We have a exhaust system now, goes to cat the striaght through to the backbox, sounds the nuts and fitted the apexi air filter which makes a awesome induction sound. We also had a burning smell coming from the engine and wondered what it was after starting it up and with smoke coming from the engine bay switched the engine off. Found out the altenator was seized solid! bit not to worry we have a spare one so just need a new belt and its sorted so its getting there and nearly on the road

maybe about 3 or 4 car gutted my car aint on the road! just wish the cruise was a couple of weeks later.

Im pretty sure the traders like iddy etc. pay to trade on here but for normal members who just sell things in the classifieds dont pay to sell on here. Id happily chip in a tenner towards stuff for the show next year as ive heard off people on here and few other mates that JAE is awesome, but I just didnt have the money to go this year plus was picking up the car on the sunday. Also think GBR motorsport said he had a generator that he could take to shows but im not too sure.

i have both the interior loom and engine loom here for a turbo conversion but not sure if it would work at all with your corolla, engine loom might if your running a 4efte out a starlet.

also worth remembering, that use someones reg that you know of a standard starlet you want since i used to try see what quotes were like for me, i put in on my name for just a sportif looking through the model type etc. it came to 1900 and then put in the reg of my car and dropped to 1200. So use a reg instead of just looking up through the model etc.

I may need a wheel bearing and track rod end for my drivers side on my car and not sure where the cheapest place to get them is and how easy they are to do? Car is starting to cost abit more than I first thought (typical starlets lol) so trying to save money where I can. cheers BigMan

dont worry sam its going matt black! and it might be going on matt black steelies aswell hahah found out it needs a couple of bulbs which is no problem but might need a wheel bearing which is going to cost me!

try aviva and put your parents on the policy as named drivers if you can, that should bring it down alot. Dont use comparison sites and there just full of crap.

got the other glanza seat I have in as the passenger seat and the cd player in and working. Interior needs a good clean but that will get done sometime in the future. Got this backbox aswell as almost a full exhaust system for £20 for the scrapyard off a little red EP91 n/a that had been rolled, had a little JDM-YOO! sticker on the back aswell and here is the current state of the car in my mates driveway
