My mates only got a FMIC at the moment, and an adjustable actuator, but the difference when adding the FMIC was a big increase in performance.

Well wheels have arrived, just waiting on my springs, then let the work commence! It's going to be a nice transformation - Lowering, wheels and painted brake calipers all in one weekend If I've got time we'll fit the Black OEM Lip to.

Then you were very lucky! Air bags can be really dodgy! Usually when you disconnect the battery you should wait at least 30 mins!

What other mods do you have? If you've got a boost gauge I know you can watch it, then change gear before 1bar, I think that's when you hit fuel cut. I know someone that does this, they refuse to buy a FCD lol so they just keep an eye on the boost.

I'm not sure yet because I still need to de-restrict mine. But I know what when you hit fuel cut it will run on say half fuel as a safe guard. By turning your car off and on again will reset it, so I'm pretty sure you haven't damaged anything. By the way, was it fun having high boost in 1st and 2nd? Can't wait to do mine!!

Maybe it's a small leak around the air filter? Only guessing as you said it stopped when you removed it. Just have a good look around it for any holes!!

When i first picked mine up the turbo was coming in but the car would shudder, like the power wasnt introduced smoothly, only on boost tho. Also the boost lights wouldn't work properly, but i gave it a good hard drive up through the gears and its now perfect. I think it was down to the fact that it was sitting around for a while, just needed a good shoeing!

The sleeper YoYos with the clutch inside! Gawd they were awesome!

If it doesnt open mate it will over boost, your car will then hit fuel cut, and run really poo! It must be opening ;)
