Shame about the turbo mate :harhar: I'm jealous of your duck tail! The only thing holding me back is drilling holes in the boot lid like you said Good Luck with it
Never seen a turbo mounted there before! Looks epic and it's the perfect place for induction Have you got a power figure in mind? 400bhp? Keep this updated please
It's so obvious that they did the damage mate so don't doubt yourself. You would of known instantly if it was like this when you drove it in. They've fitted the cooler then ragged it on a test drive.
Oh and you should defo get a tte spoiler, there's something about having a nice splitter/spoiler combination. They marry up so well and overall looks ace. Makes a big difference overall
Welcome mate Get some pictures up when you pick her up, get a build thread going to ;) If you want a "chirp" dump valve then it's the HKS one you're after
Quick question though, why would I need the car in diagnostic mode for setting the timing? I thought you just needed to find top dead centre, then adjust the distributor as necessary?
Thanks for that Rore, I'll get the timing double checked. The timing was set up by a mechanic and the problem still existed even with the new one, so I sort of ruled that one out. Worth getting it double check though
Brand new distributor as the old one was well worn, it was arcing in there to bridge the gap It's been set up fine though. How would I go about setting up the TPS sensor? Thanks for all the help guys
Forgot to mention I've got a plug and play ECU now to so it's not down to mapping Is setting the idle timing hard to do or require a specific tool? Not sure if it's this though as sometimes it runs spot on other times it doesn't
I think they come with bolts set into the spoiler so you can drill and bolt it to your tail gate, or use tiger seal to bond it on. Here's a link to Idrees website ID Workz
Love your V mate Shame about the engine but it's nice to hear she's all fixed, forged to 225 bhp is a really good result for the ct9, you going TD04 now?
