So surely the wires that you unplugged are still behind the wheel? Just trace them back and wire it into a switch?

Aftermarket steering wheel? The wire for the switch would be the 1 that originally went to the steering wheel so its a case of whipping off the wheel and the wires should be there or you will see them if they have been cut.

IMO mate they are ok inside and very average outside. In the whole hot hatch supermini size dept there are far better choices even than this. For 10k buy yourself somthing of real quality. I wouldnt go over £5k if you plan on heavily modifying it.

Yes mate my friend had a bocanegra think its something youd regret really quickly. VAG so very dull to drive and not as powerful as the stats would make out. If you are going to spend over 6k get something bigger and a bit better quality if you buy something small and tinny you will regret it quickly especially if you spend serious money buying it.

Im 90% sure its the battery easy way to find out get some jump leads and try jump starting it. Takes alot more ampage to operate a starter motor than a radio lol.

So ignition comes on ok but when you turn the key it does not turn over and the ignition lights all go out? If thats the case its your battery.
