Does it rattle when the car is idling? To check if its that when its idling and rattling. Pull the handle on the inside to just before it opens. When you have this tension on it the rattling will stop. You then know thats the cause. Although yours sound diff by the way you are describing it.

Cant say I do mate I thought the only common rattle was the bar inside the doors which connects the inside mechanism to the lock.

There are soooooo many better ways to spend £15k than on a GT86. Personally they would be verrrrrrry far down my list. Just my opinion though.
