  1. As a diesel I'd be very dissapointed if all I got was 40MPG. Ive got a e92 BMW 320d msport. 180bhp and I still manage 55 on the motorway think i get about 46-47 combined.
  2. Im in no way mad or excited dont flatter yourself lol. Im home from work now so i no longer need you to help pass the time. Cheers ;)
  3. Do you have short term memory loss you crazy person.
  4. Also that by my standards is a very reasonable reply i just gave so i would appreciate you taking that into consideration.
  5. Nope wrong there i dont correct anyones spelling other than bought and brought as its quite a common thing. I tell it how it is and if that hurt the most sensitive of souls for the greater good then so be it. I correct people who misinform others who are less in the know. Saves these people then going on to misinform others and we would all end up uneducated dimwits. Facebook lol I dont have that shit. Im going on factual experience. In truthfulness Adam whether you like me or my attitude do i give out bad info? Theres nothing wrong with making sure others learn the facts and if it saves the
  6. Lol you on the mushies or sumthing haha.
  7. Only thing thats excited me is your hilarious replies bud. Backtracking to the extreme. By the way if they round your costs up to an hours labour charge for this and thats what causes the price to be high do they do the same with changing bulbs because it takes about the same time to do. Minimum of £25-£30 on bulb changes where Mikey goes guys lol.
  8. Haha mate your nursing a semi because Adam agreed with you. If you go to a garage there is no way you should be charged a full hours labour, if you are then go elsewhere. Another silly comment from me lol anyone reading this will know Im the 1 talking sense so take your tongue out his hole lol. Also in all fairness Adam has previous for the same thing.
  9. Nothing here that suggests this is your experience. So try back tracking another way. I only have a problem with people who misinform others who maybe have less experience.
  10. Lol your only wrong because you said most places have a minimum of 25-30 gbp cost on the welds. Which clearly they dont. Maybe where you have visited this is the case but evidently you have either been to expensive places or been overcharged, it's not the end of the world there are plenty conmen out there. 3 people in this thread have now disagreed with you and rather than just taking it on the chin and laughing about it you've thrown a hissy fit and acted like everbody is out to get you. The only person getting upset is you, infact I'm enjoying each and every reply more than the last.
  11. Theres 2 pensioners in my area with a bog standard Glanza V mate still got wheel trims the lot. Now thats what you call oblivious lol.
  12. No the world isn't out to get you though you just feel that way just now. Dont worry times a great healer. Ps. I can see 2 others in this thread who disgree with you so I would also debate your other comment about me being the only 1.
  13. I am chilled mate your the 1 that wrote something that was incorrect so to avoid anyone else the misfortune of being bumped I said they shouldnt be paying this much. You carry on doing and saying what you like pal but as others have seen here it doesn't mean its correct. Knock the chip off your shoulder the world isnt out to get you lol.
  14. You said "Most places" not "most places you have been to". Like everyone else has said your talking mince about the minimum of £20. So rather than dig a hole why not just admit you have been ripped off in the past? No 1 is judging you lol. We are just saying you have over paid.
  15. In all honesty mate I'd advise you to sell the clio and then start with cash. I really cant see anyone being willing to trade a clean glanza for a Clio with 84k on it. I'm not being harsh I'm prob 1 of the bigger fans of clios on here but it is just a complete mis match IMO. If you can get £3500 for it then you will get a nice starlet for that but trade wise I really think you will struggle.
  16. So you have costs for everywhere in the UK? Dont talk absolute mince.
  17. Personally. Would grudge more than a £10r if its mild steel. Any local place with a welder should be able to repair it also. If its mild steel your lucky if its a 20 min job.
  18. Nah mate it was just a clean example that you were after. Haha I didn't realise it was sold. From personal experience mate I'd advise to buy a lightly modded car rather than a mint example. If you buy 1 with simple mods eg: Exhuast, coilovers, mani, decat. You will save yourself an absolute fortune. Things like interior and body panels are easily and cheaply replaced. So with those mods and a sound engine I'd say thats a better base. I bought a fresh import with 0 mods other than alloys and it has cost me an arm and a leg as you pay for the cleanliness.

  20. Didny know u done them mate thats handy. Wish id known before now lol.
  21. There was a thread about these few months back we struggled to find them alot of people were just replacing them with nut and bolt, you can also use cable tie as they are just to hold it up nice and straight. I really wouldn't reccomend nut and bolt though as the could rust and seize and be very difficult to remove and cause you to damage your wing. If you are fussy like me I spent a while trawling through ebay and came up with these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281024690487?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 I havent used them myself yet but they look like t
  22. Where from I need. Genuinely think I might be in love with the 1 with black hair in the intake link above lol.
  23. The models on tht site arouse me.
  24. Yeah I agree in this condition needing tyres they are priced fairly. I quite like them myself would suite my car to a tee.
