  5. The brand whores will tell you that you need this and that. Unless your car has serious power going through the gearbox any brand will do. I just use comma stuff it meets regulation standard and was about £6 a ltr and incase your in doubt im a mechanic so not just feedin you bullshit.

  10. What other mods do you have? If you have an FMIC and/or front mount air filter chances are you will creep and hit boost cut. Port your wastegate yourself its easy.
  11. For 0.8 bar. Use a hks adjustable actuator. Port the wastegate on your turbo. Thats all. Then add an EBC at a later date. MBC - not worth a fuck. FCD - accident waiting to happen. Best thing you could do would be to add a P&P to the list aswell. Can run what boost you want on ct9 and allows you to continue modding. Do it right do it 1ce.
  12. Mbc wont prevent boost creep. You need to port the wastgate to do that.

  16. The weather is fucking amazing. Typical Brits spend the whole winter moaning about the cold only to complain when you get a bit of heat. Its only shit because we have to work in it.   17. Just use a multimeter mate and turn your sidelights on and off until you work out which 1 it is. If you take off the steering cowling its in behind there. Im sure its the dark green and black 1 iirc. Honestly though mate you will regret it being linked to the sidelights unless you turn them on all the time aswell because when they arent lit the dials look shit but its obv down to you.

  19. Haha we all have they moments dont worry about it. Wiring wise you can either go to your cig lighter and it will be on with the ignition or go to your sidelights which will obv make them come on with the sidelights. I went with sidelights but they look shit when they are off so I would recomment going to the cig lighter keeps it alot simpler.
  20. One is MPH and 1 is KPH. Your better off with MPH as thats what we use here obviously but if you dont have a convertor on your gearbox you will have to use the red rumbers instead of the blue ones.

  22. To be fair that manifold isny really worth the work they are pretty much the worst ones you can get. your not the 1st person to buy 1 though they are famous.   23. To be fair if its as nice as it looks and the mileage is low enough you could pay £2500 for that and you would still have won a watch. These used to be on pistonheads for £5k. Its mainly down to the mileage. Someone nearby has to go inspect it and bring back some info.
  24. You could use it on low boost mate im not sure what these generate but it looks pretty big so ud probs only want to have 0.5 bar until you got all other mods for fuelling and stuff. With a map it would see plenty power and kept at a sensible pressure you could run it without forging. Obviously depending on the health of your engine. As for the wastegate you would need to take pics of the exhaust side with the decat off so we could see but if its the same as that 1 on the ebay link I think its needs to be externally gated.
