  1. I'd only want to split if there was buyers for the shocks and top mounts matey. Plus postage to Barbados may be ......interesting lol.
  2. Well If thats the case then for the sake of £40 you should try a wooden VIV will defo bring the temp up a bit if you dont like it then just sell it always loads of people want them on gumtree.
  3. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/55151-reptile-thread/ Check that out mate on the 1st page username Bannana19 message her she keeps chameleons should be able to help you.
  4. You can get them from any reptile website or try your local pet shop? Do you use a reptile shop local to you? Any shop or website that you get food from will sell chippings. I'd imagine with them beign wood the would be quite good for soaking up water or you could lift the lizard out and spray it on your hand? Feeding them plenty salad is good for keeping them hydrated too but youll know all this I cant advise you as I've never owned a Cham maybe better to invest in a mister????
  5. Yeah mate they will grow in the MDF if it splits. The towels wont help with your steaming issue they will also harbour bacteria quite badly as the damp and warm so be careful with that. Does your lizard need a mister in the tank? I find beech chippings have been the best substrate for me as its too big too eat. Smells good is natural plus all the dirt falls between it to the bottom of the viv keeping it quite clean. I think ebay can be quite expensive I got a 3Ft beech effect Vivexotic one from a website I use for food and stuff. Was only £40 They have air vents built into the
  6. They only harbour the bacteria more if the vinyl on them is split or damaged with it though they are essentially just like doors on a fitted kitchen so cant be too bad. I clean mine 1ce a month and replace the wood chippings the new 1s always make it smell epic. It may be more difficult if you need a tall Viv but I have seen geckos kept in long vivs just with plent logs and vines to climb. I keep mine in my living room I have an old Victorian Tenement flat with high ceilings and a bay window which is about 7ft x 7ft its quite a cool flat tbh.
  7. Ahh I see buddy. You maybe cheaper putting him in a wooden Viv? Can get a 3 ft one for £40 brand new online? Will be cheaper than Insulating. I have 2 piled ontop of another (Check the lizard thread on here people will help you on there.) My bottom tank has a 75W and top has a 50W. I get 105F at hot end and 80-85 at cool end and that in winter without the heating on.
  8. Just use a 50W basking lamp that will maintain the temp. Shouldnt the chamleon have 1 anyway?
  9. Aye that is the big issue is jacking it up to get the right angle for lining it back up. Good you managed in the end though matey.
  10. Item For Sale: Potenza Shocks with HKS Springs and Ep82 Top Mounts. Believe this stuff to be pretty damn rare these days I know the shocks are few and far between. The ride is superb the difference between these and my Meisters is almost unnoticable. Stick a set of cusco top mounts on these and your onto a cracking set up. Far better than KYB shocks. Item Condition & Description: Good No leaks or Knocks powder coat is flaking off the front springs but dont be fooled by the rust these aren't cheap rubbish. Needs a bumpstop on 1 of the fronts but you can use your old 1. Price: SOLD
  11. That actually looks quite tidy plus that TRD wheel is decent!!! Probly sold though hasnt been relisted for 25 days.
  12. I really dont think thats the reason lol.
  13. Welcome. Talent in more then 1 way..... I like.
  14. Haha I expected as much matey. As for the driveshafts there a little sticky you have to use a big scredriver or pry bar and a hammer and tap them out when your helper pulls the hub out takes a bit of experience to know that tho. Glad you got it done though mate. I said it would be murder to re align its just somthing with these boxes think its because the input shaft is soo thin.
  15. I need it for ct9 pal^^^ Cheers for the offer though.
  16. How lol? To be honest mate the OBD and diagnostic equipment is only really for lights on the dash like ABS, Airbags and EML and EML only comes on when the lambda sensor receives the wrong signal 4 times in a row so its only really for daft things like fuel air spark n exhaust. It genuinely wasn't a dig I just truely beleive spray painters over charge for their work. Fair doos if they are doing the perfect job but lets be fair most places will cut corners. I've seen it myself thats exactly why people struggle and need these threads to find the genuinely good ones. As fo
  17. I was always going to do this mate only thing thats changed is the fmic and thats because ma arc tmic needs modding so jus get an fmic cheaper n easier.
  18. Try adjusting the pedal and see if that helps mate all you need is a 12 or 14mm spanner worth a shot.
  19. Shorten the rod on the pedal inside the car buddy that probably the issue. After you've checked for leaks and bled of course.
